Location

The resort is located on the eastern outer reef of the Lhaviyani Atoll, offering ideal starting points for unforgettable snorkeling and diving excursions. The island is approx. 600m long and approx. 180m wide. The transfer time from Male airport is approximately 35 minutes by seaplane. Upon request, the transfer can be booked via domestic flight and then by speedboat to the island (there may be longer waiting times at the airport).

Facilities

The resort offers a total of 80 Beach and Ocean Villas spread across the island amidst tropical vegetation or over the water. Facilities include an open, friendly reception area and a souvenir shop offering everything your heart desires, from swimwear to books. For culinary delights, there is the "Velu" buffet restaurant, the "Milos" à la carte restaurant with Greek cuisine and Mediterranean specialties, and the "Kumo" à la carte restaurant with Asian delicacies.
In addition, the hotel has a snack lab with appetizers and fresh smoothies, as well as three bars.
The outdoor area features a swimming pool, inviting you to relax (sun loungers, beach towels, and cushions are included). Guests can also use the facilities (restaurants, bars, and sports facilities) of the sister islands Jawakara Mabin and Dheru Island for a fee.

Sunset Beach Pool Villa

The bungalows are approx. 130 m² in size (incl. outdoor area) and equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), safe, and a terrace facing the sunset. The villas also have a private pool (V2S).

Ocean Pool Villa

The bungalows are approx. 119 m² in size (incl. outdoor area) and equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), safe, and a terrace. The villas are built on stilts directly over the sea and also have a private pool (OP2).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the form of a diverse buffet at the Velu Restaurant. Snacks are available throughout the day at the Velu Bar and by the pool (10 AM - 12 PM and 3 PM - 7 PM). For stays of at least 5 nights, the hotel offers a 3-course lunch and dinner at an à la carte restaurant as part of the "Dine-Around" program (reservations required and subject to availability). Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, fresh juices, smoothies, coffee, tea, wine, beer, cocktails, and mocktails) are included at the currently open bar from 8 AM to 1 AM. Daily replenishment of the minibar with water, soft drinks, wine, beer, and snacks. Additionally, a sunset cruise, a 30-minute group snorkeling lesson (equipment included), and a 30-minute group windsurfing lesson (equipment included) are included according to the schedule, among other things. Guests also receive a bottle of champagne upon arrival. The use of bicycles, kayaks (one hour per day), and windsurfing equipment (one hour per day) is included. For stays of 4 to 7 nights, a 30-minute spa treatment for individuals aged 18 and over is included. For stays of 8 to 11 nights, two spa treatments are included. For stays of 12 to 15 nights, three spa treatments are included, and for stays of 16 nights or more, four spa treatments are included.

Sports included

Fitness center, tennis and padel tennis (equipment not included), volleyball, badminton, and futsal.

Wellness

The "Sulha" Spa offers a selection of different massages and treatments for a fee.

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation estimated for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 stopovers on seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or long immigration waiting times, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it is possible that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child may have to sleep in the parents' bed.

All flight transfers and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male (near the airport) may be necessary.
