Location

The Ayada Resort is located on the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, on the southern island of Maguhdhuvaa. From there, it is just 30 km to the equator. The island is surrounded by pristine underwater landscapes, offering perfect conditions for snorkeling and diving on the house reef. The transfer duration by domestic flight to Kaadhedhoo Airport is approximately 55 minutes, followed by a 50-minute speedboat ride.

Facilities

Spread across the island, nestled amidst the breathtaking natural landscape, are 122 luxuriously appointed villas. Ayada does not have a reception area or desk, as all guests check in directly at their villas. Amenities include a boutique, a jeweler, a hairdresser, and a souvenir shop. For culinary delights, there are five restaurants offering national and international dishes, as well as three bars. The main restaurant, "Magu," offers daily changing international buffet options. "Ocean Breeze" serves modern European dishes and seafood. The "Zero Degree" restaurant, located by the infinity pool, offers fresh salads and Asian dishes. "Sea Salt" provides an open-air BBQ dinner twice a week, and at "Mizu," fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes are prepared live. Sushi and sashimi are prepared and served using local fish at the "Kai" restaurant. The "Ile de Joie" bar, situated directly over the water, offers a selection of international wines and various cheeses. In the tropical garden area, you'll find the infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. Umbrellas, loungers with cushions, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

Garden Villa

The Garden Villa is situated directly in the tropical garden, offering a perfect retreat. Furthermore, the villa features a shower/WC, bathrobe/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, TV, telephone, and a terrace.

Beach Villa with Pool

With the same amenities as the Garden Villa, featuring a private pool and located just a few steps from the beach.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has set a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Ocean Villa with Pool

The Ocean Villa is situated on stilts directly over the water, featuring the same amenities with a private infinity pool.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has set a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

With half board booked, enjoy an American breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. With full board booked, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are also served as buffets.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agent will arrange for an overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently most domestic flights, only operate during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be required.
