Location

This tropical, lush barefoot island is approximately 450 x 350 meters in size and is located in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. The house reef is about 20 meters away. The transfer time from the airport in Male is approximately 55 minutes by domestic flight, followed by a 25-minute speedboat ride.

The modern and luxurious resort features a total of 51 villas. Amenities include a reception area, library, souvenir shop, and a doctor. Four restaurants cater to your culinary needs, three of which are à-la-carte restaurants serving national and international dishes. The pool bar serves cocktails, drinks, and meals. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are available free of charge at the infinity pool, located directly on the beach.

The villas (approx. 165 m² incl. outdoor area) feature a bathroom with separate indoor and outdoor rain shower and bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, LCD TV, CD/DVD player, iPod docking station, personal in-room iPad, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, espresso machine, safe, air conditioning, and a wooden deck with seating and a small garden. Beach Pool Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Beach Pool Villa is larger (approx. 180 m² incl. outdoor area) and also features a private pool. (VPZ)
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety hazard for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Water Villa is smaller (approx. 115 m² incl. outdoor area), built on stilts over the sea, with direct access to the water and sea views. (W2V) Also available for an extra charge with sunset view and private pool. (WXT)

Poolvilla Deluxe

With similar amenities to the Beach Villa, the Pool Villa Deluxe is larger (approx. 265 m² incl. outdoor area) and features a large covered sun lounger, a spacious infinity pool, and direct beach access. (PVD)

Breakfast at "The Dining Room". With Half Board Plus, dinner is additionally included at "The Dining Room" or selected dishes at "The Bar". Selected drinks during meals included. With Full Board Plus, lunch and dinner are additionally included at "The Dining Room" or selected dishes at "The Bar". Selected drinks during meals included.

All inclusive

Breakfast is served at The Dining Room restaurant. When booking a Pool Villa, there is an option for a floating breakfast. For lunch, a 2-course set menu in The Dining Room or The Bar; in the evening, a 3-course set menu in The Dining Room, The Bar, or The Island Grill. Selected dishes at The Island Grill are 50% off. From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., selected alcoholic and all non-alcoholic drinks are included in all restaurants and at the pool bar. There is a 25% discount on premium drinks and 50% off meals at the KOI restaurant, The Treehouse, and for private dining. A weekly BBQ theme night and daily replenishment of the minibar are also included.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.

For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. These costs are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions apply for changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in which case our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).
The luggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it may occur that if 2 adults + 1 or 2 children stay in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.
