Location

The island, newly opened in 2017, is located in the Dhaalu Atoll. Male Airport is approx. 150 km away. The transfer takes approximately 30 minutes by domestic flight from Velana International Airport, followed by an approx. 20-minute speedboat ride. The seaplane transfer takes approx. 40 minutes and can be booked on request for a fee.

Facilities

The modern resort with 266 rooms blends into the island's natural vegetation. On-site amenities include a reception area with comfortable seating, two souvenir shops, and a photo studio. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of dining options across the spacious island with a total of ten restaurants. The "Flavour Zest" restaurant, designed in the style of a marketplace, offers various stalls featuring international dishes. At the "Sea Dragon" restaurant, you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, while the "Azure", located directly on the beach, serves Mediterranean dishes. The stylishly furnished "Deli" prepares fresh snacks, and delicious grilled specialties await you at "Smoked". Furthermore, you can enjoy refreshing cocktails at the "Breeze" pool bar, and fresh juices, as well as Asian and Maldivian-inspired treats, are served at the "Aroma" café. Two additional bars, a beach club, another café, two swimming pool areas, and an art studio round off the offering. Sun loungers, pool towels, and parasols are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Sky Studio

The modern Sky Studios (approx. 55 m², in buildings with 4 units each) are located directly on the beach on the first floor. They feature a shower/WC, bathrobe/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), TV, telephone, pull-out sofa bed, furnished balcony, and sea view. (SY2) Also bookable as a Promo Room with limited availability (SYS).

Beach Villa Jacuzzi

The detached Jacuzzi Beach Villas (approx. 97 m²) feature the same amenities plus a semi-open bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, shower/WC, and a Jacuzzi. (2JV)
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Aqua Villa

The Aqua Villas (approx. 73 m²) are detached, built on stilts over the water, and offer a bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, separate shower/WC, and an additional sun deck with direct access to the sea. (AVZ)

Extensive breakfast buffet at the "Flavour Zest" restaurant. If Half Board Plus is booked, dinner is included; if Full Board Plus is booked, both lunch and dinner are included. Soft drinks, juices, water, as well as coffee and tea are included with all meals for these board options.

Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
