Location

The resort is located in the South Nilandhe Atoll, approx. 145 km south of Male, directly on a dreamlike sandy beach. An outer reef, ideal for diving and snorkeling, is only about 30m away. The transfer time from Male airport is approx. 40 minutes by seaplane.

Facilities

Spread across an island measuring approx. 390m long and 170m wide, there are 62 detached beach villas and 41 water bungalows. The facilities include an open reception area with a reception desk and seating, as well as a souvenir shop, a boutique, and a jeweler. For culinary delights, guests can enjoy a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, a wine cellar, a pool bar, and the main overwater bar, renovated in 2025. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the infinity pool.

Beach Villa Pool

The approx. 78 sqm (including outdoor area) pool villas feature stylish white interiors and a tropical color scheme. The villas are equipped with a semi-open bathroom, bathtub, and separate outdoor shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), and a private sun deck with a Maldivian swing, a large pool, and sea view (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Deluxe Beach Villa

With similar amenities to the Pool Villas but slightly smaller (76 sqm), these villas also feature a Maldivian swing on the sun deck (D2V). For an additional charge, they can also be booked with a private whirlpool bath on the terrace of the semi-open bathroom (J2Y).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Reef Villa

The Reef Villas, with similar amenities to the Pool Villas, are slightly more spacious (approx. 78sqm including outdoor area) with a closed bathroom on the sun deck and are built on stilts over the water (R2V).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

All meals are served buffet-style in the main restaurant "The Aqua". Lunch and dinner can also be enjoyed à la carte in selected restaurants. Afternoon coffee and tea from 3 PM to 6 PM at "Positv Engergy", selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, such as soft drinks, juice, table wine, cocktails, etc. Additionally, the minibar is replenished daily with soft drinks and beer.
1 Dolphin Sunset Cruise or a visit to a local island is included per person per stay.

Sports included

Fully equipped fitness center, tennis, badminton, volleyball, snorkeling equipment, table tennis, and darts. Non-motorized water sports (e.g., windsurfing etc.) are free for one hour daily.

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operates for expected arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs incurred are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times for entry (in such cases, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay if necessary).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) as well as currently most domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

The luggage allowance for seaplanes/domestic flights is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 7 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually forwarded by boat.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a stay of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child has to sleep in the parents' bed.
