Location

The 4-star Dreamland The Unique Sea & Lake Resort is located in the picturesque Baa Atoll. The house reef is approximately 100 m away. The transfer time from Male airport is approximately 20 minutes by domestic flight followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride. Seaplane transfers are also available for an additional charge.

The resort feels truly dreamlike, with pristine white sandy beaches and unusually pristine vegetation. It features a total of 90 rooms located both on land and on stilts above the lagoon. Amenities at this paradisiacal retreat include an open-plan reception area with cozy seating, a library, and a boutique. Culinary needs are catered for by 2 restaurants, the Lakeview Restaurant and the Seaview Restaurant, both serving international cuisine, as well as 2 bars. In the center of the island, surrounded by palms and mangroves, the unique 1600m² freshwater lake, covered with water lilies, invites guests to take a relaxing swim. Sun loungers and bath towels are provided on the island free of charge.

Beach Bungalow

The beach bungalows are 78 m² and feature a bathroom with bathtub, shower/WC, separate outdoor shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, mini-refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, a furnished terrace, and sea view (SBZ/SEB/RSB).

Water Bungalow

With the same amenities and size, these bungalows are built directly over the sea on stilts, offering direct access to the sea (2WB/3WB).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types for safety reasons.

Meals

HB/FB/HB+/AI

If half board is booked, breakfast and dinner are provided in buffet form. Full board includes an additional lunch. If half board + is booked, guests receive breakfast and dinner in buffet form, plus a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks between 8 am and midnight.
Additionally, with HB+, guests receive a free half-day snorkeling excursion or snorkeling equipment per person/stay.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, juices, house wine, mocktails, and cocktails by the glass at the open bar from 8 am to midnight.
In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive free snorkeling equipment and one half-day snorkeling excursion per person/stay.

Speedboat: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 intermediate stops during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an intermediate overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exclusions apply for changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will handle any necessary overnight accommodation).
Seaplane flights, most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently most domestic flights only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
