Location

The small island of Dhigufaru Island (approx. 35,000 m²) is located about 140 km north of Malé in the Baa Atoll. It is the only atoll in the Maldives designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO and boasts some of the richest reef systems in the world, making it an ideal diving location. Transfer is by domestic flight (approx. 20 minutes) followed by a boat transfer (approx. 30 minutes). A seaplane transfer (approx. 45 minutes) can be booked at an additional charge.

The spacious barefoot island features 82 villas spread across the island and over the lagoon. Amenities include a reception with comfortable seating and a hair salon. For culinary delights, there is the buffet restaurant "Dhandifulhu" serving international cuisine with its own bar, the overwater à la carte restaurant "The Muraka Fine Dining" offering Maldivian and international delicacies, and the "Athiri Grill" serving various grilled fish and meat specialties on the beach in a relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, the "Thundi Pool Bar and Café" offers bistro-style snacks, and the "Raagudi" bar boasts the largest whisky and champagne collection in the Maldives. Sunrise Water Villa

The total of 85 modern Water Villas are approx. 74 m² and built on stilts over the sea, facing the sunrise. They feature a bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, WC, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, safe, minibar (for a fee), telephone, LED TV, a veranda with a table and chairs, sun loungers, and direct sea access. Pool Beach Villa

With the same amenities as the Sunrise Beach Villa, the Pool Beach Villa is larger (approx. 103 m²) and features a private pool. (VPZ)

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
