Location

The tropical-exotic island "Horubadhoo" is approx. 800 x 220 m in size and is located in the still largely undeveloped eastern part of the Baa Atoll. The house reef is approx. 30-60 m away. The transfer time is approx. 20 minutes by domestic flight with FlyMe, approx. five minutes by minibus to the boat landing and another ten minutes by speedboat. For arrivals from 1.11.25, a seaplane can be booked as an option at an additional cost (transfer time approx. 35 minutes).

The tastefully furnished complex has 150 rooms and a friendly reception, a souvenir shop and a jeweler. Culinary delights are offered by the main restaurant "Maakanaa", the à la carte restaurant "Raabondhi", as well as two bars and a fun pub. In the tropical outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a separate children's pool. Sun loungers and beach towels by the pool and sun loungers on the beach are included.

Sunset Beach Villa

The Sunset Beach Villas have the same amenities as the Beach Villas and also offer a sunset view. (S2V/KVZ)

Beach Villa Pool

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Beach Villa Pool is larger (approx. 125 m² incl. outdoor area) and additionally has a private pool with a sun terrace. (VPZ)
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons for children, schauinsland-reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Speedboat: Operates for expected arrivals/departures from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will arrange for an overnight stay if necessary).
In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a double occupancy with 1 or 2 children, it's possible that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Consequently, when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room, one child may have to sleep in the parents' bed.
