Location

The 4-star Safari Island Resort is located in the heart of the Ari Atoll and covers an area of approximately 30,000 m². The island is surrounded by a dreamlike white sandy beach, a crystal-clear, turquoise lagoon, and a house reef with a magnificent underwater world (approx. 7-8 meters from the beach). The transfer time from Male Airport by seaplane is approx. 25 minutes, and the island is located approx. 60 km from Male.

Your holiday resort promises a stay in a relaxed atmosphere. It has a total of 84 rooms, located on land and on stilts over the water. Amenities include an open reception area with a reception desk, a souvenir shop, the main restaurant with international cuisine and unforgettable views, a bar, and a coffee shop. A small swimming pool provides variety and relaxing hours. Sun loungers, beach towels, and sun umbrellas are available here free of charge. A special feature of this resort includes safaris on a traditional yet comfortably equipped wooden boat (for a fee).

The attractively furnished Beach Bungalows are 45 m² in size and feature a bathtub, separate shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, satellite TV, telephone, and a furnished terrace (SBZ/SEB/RSB).

Semi Water Bungalow

With the same amenities and size, the bungalows additionally feature a terrace, partially built on stilts over the water, with direct sea access and sea views (WA2/WA3).

With the same amenities and size, they additionally feature a glass-bottom table, are completely built over the water with direct sea access (2WB/3WB).

With booked Half Board, breakfast and dinner are served buffet style. With booked Full Board, lunch is also included. With booked Half Board +, guests receive breakfast and dinner buffet style and additionally a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks between 8 AM and midnight.

Unlimited drinks: bottled water, carbonated soft drinks (Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta Orange, Bitter Lemon, Tonic Water, Soda Water, and Iced Tea), juices (Orange, Pineapple, Apple, Mango, Grapefruit, and Tomato), beer, house wine (Red, White & Rose), local spirits, cocktails, tea, and regular coffee are served by the glass at the bar. Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM. // Domestic Flight: Operation for arrivals/departures approximately between 9:30 AM and 4 PM. // Seaplane: Operation approximately for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently mostly domestic flights are only operated during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

The luggage limit for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg of hand luggage per person. Excess baggage is to be paid for on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage will usually be delivered by boat later.
