Location

The 4-star Safari Island Resort is located in the heart of the Ari Atoll and covers an area of approximately 30,000 m². The island is surrounded by a dreamlike white sandy beach, a crystal-clear, turquoise lagoon, and a house reef with a magnificent underwater world (approx. 7–8 m from the beach). The transfer time from Male Airport by seaplane is approx. 25 minutes. The island is located approx. 60 km from Male.

Your holiday resort promises a stay in a relaxed atmosphere. It has a total of 84 rooms, located on land and on stilts over the water. Amenities include an open reception area with a reception, a souvenir shop, the main restaurant with international cuisine and an unforgettable view, a bar, and a coffee shop. A small swimming pool provides variety and relaxation. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are available here free of charge. A special feature of this resort is the safaris on a traditional yet comfortably equipped wooden boat (for a fee).

The attractively furnished Beach Bungalows are 45 m² and have a bathtub, separate shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, satellite TV, telephone, and a furnished terrace (SBZ/SEB/RSB).

Semi Water Bungalow

With the same amenities and size, the bungalows also feature a terrace that is partly built on stilts over the water, with direct sea access and sea view (WA2/WA3).

Water Bungalow

With the same amenities and size, they also feature a glass-bottom table and are built entirely over the water with direct sea access (2WB/3WB).

With booked half board, breakfast and dinner are served buffet style. With booked full board, lunch is also included. With booked half board +, guests receive breakfast and dinner buffet style, plus a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 8 am to midnight.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the main restaurant. Unlimited drinks: bottled water, carbonated soft drinks (Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta Orange, Bitter Lemon, Tonic Water, Soda Water, and Iced Tea), juice (orange, pineapple, apple, mango, grapefruit, and tomato), beer, house wine (red, white & rosé), local spirits, cocktails, tea, and regular coffee are served by the glass at the bar. Various sandwiches (tomato, cheese, chicken, and tuna sandwiches) and cakes are served daily from 10 am to 11:30 am and from 3 pm to 5 pm. Snorkeling equipment is available at the reception during your stay. All equipment must be returned 8 hours before departure. Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfer, there may be 1–2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or long waits at immigration, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a double occupancy with 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, in a room for 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, a child may have to sleep in the parents' bed. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently mostly domestic flights, only operate during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg of hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, washbasins or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.
