Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic (domestic flight): Operation for arrivals/departures approximately between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation approximately for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer immigration waiting times (in which case our local agency will arrange for an intermediate overnight stay).
In some areas, the sand on the north side may be interspersed with coral; water shoes are recommended.

Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be required.

Luggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 5 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. USD 5 per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, washbasins or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed.
