Speedboat: Operation for approx. arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic (domestic flight): Operation for approx. arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
In some areas, the sand on the north side contains coral; swimming shoes are recommended.
