Location

The Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resort is located in the exclusive and well-maintained Nusa Dua holiday area in the south of the Indonesian island of Bali. The dreamlike, fine-sand beach of Nusa Dua is reachable in about 15 minutes on foot or conveniently in approx. 3 minutes with the hotel's free shuttle service. The hotel also offers guests its own beach club. The well-known Bali Collection Shopping & Dining Center, offering shops, restaurants, and entertainment, is just around a 3-minute drive from the resort. Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar) is approximately 11–12 kilometers away.

Facilities

The luxurious resort features 242 rooms and 5 suites spread across the complex. Inside, the hotel impresses with a modern yet warm design incorporating Balinese style elements and high-quality materials. Facilities include a lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, open lounge areas, and common rooms. For dining, the resort offers several restaurants and bars, including a main restaurant with international and Asian cuisine, an Italian specialty restaurant, as well as pool and beach bars for snacks and refreshments. Surrounded by well-maintained gardens with palm trees and Balinese flora, the hotel offers numerous quiet retreats. The centerpiece of the outdoor area is an extensive lagoon-style pool complex with several interconnected swimming pools, sun terraces, and comfortable loungers. For families, there is a separate children's pool, a lazy river, and play areas. The outdoor facilities are complemented by a modern beach club on Nusa Dua Beach, easily accessible by free shuttle, which impresses with sun loungers, bar service, and a restaurant.

Deluxe

Tastefully furnished, approx. 35 m² in size, and equipped with a shower, toilet, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, safe, TV, telephone, coffee & tea facilities, and a balcony with garden view. (DD2).
Also available with pool view (DPB) and on the ground floor with direct access to the pool (2TO).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children.
Therefore, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children for safety reasons.

Restrictions due to Balinese holiday Nyepi

The "Nyepi Day", also known as the "Day of Silence," is the highest holiday in Bali.
During this time (24 hours), strict rules apply which severely restrict tourism.
The date is determined annually by the lunar calendar and usually falls in March.
On the Day of Silence, arrival and departure are not possible, and the airport is closed.
