Location

The hotel is located just a few steps from Legian Beach, via a promenade (pedestrian only). Kuta, with its numerous shopping and entertainment options and famous nightlife, is nearby. Many small shops and local as well as international restaurants can be found in the vicinity. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 20 minutes.

This popular and well-maintained hotel complex has many regular guests. It consists of a main building and bungalows typical of the region, which are scattered throughout a lush, tropical garden. There are a total of 236 guest rooms spread over four floors. Facilities include a lobby with seating areas, "Lila Chita" lounge, bar, beach bar, three restaurants (serving Italian, Japanese, and Indonesian cuisine), and a snack bar. The pool area features two swimming pools with a pool bar, integrated children's pool, and a whirlpool. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are provided on the pool terraces. The hotel also has its own spa area.

Deluxe Bungalow

The bungalows are located in the garden; each bungalow room features the same equipment as the Superior rooms, but additionally includes a VCD/DVD player, a refrigerator, and a private terrace (D2B/1BD).
Also bookable as a Deluxe Beach Bungalow near the beach (D12/D11).

From Nov 1, 2026: Deluxe Pool Villa

Features the same equipment as the Deluxe rooms, but with a private pool (2PV).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Restrictions due to Balinese Nyepi holiday

“Nyepi Day,” also known as the “Day of Silence,” is the most important holiday on Bali.
During this time (24 hours), strict rules apply that severely restrict tourism.
The date is determined annually by the lunar calendar and usually takes place in March.
On the Day of Silence, arrival and departure are not possible, and the airport is also closed.
