Duplex Family Room

The Duplex family rooms (DUF) are approx. 125 m² and are equipped with a bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, bathrobes/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, 43'' TV, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar (for a fee), fully equipped kitchen, living area, and two separate bedrooms (1x King size bed, 1x 2 single beds). Destination information

Local Customs and Etiquette:
Omanis are known for their warmth and hospitality. Visitors should respect local customs by dressing conservatively, especially at religious sites. Public displays of affection are generally avoided, and loud or disruptive behavior is discouraged.
Photography and Drones:
Always ask for permission before taking photos of people. Avoid taking photos of government buildings and military sites. Flying drones without a license is illegal.
Alcohol and E-cigarettes:
Alcohol can be purchased and consumed in licensed areas such as hotels and restaurants, with the legal minimum drinking age being 21 years. It is also possible for visitors to shop at the airport duty-free. Public drunkenness is prohibited. E-cigarettes are illegal in Oman.

Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions in hotel operations. Furthermore, hotels use this time for maintenance and minor renovation work, which may lead to inconveniences such as pool closures, etc. Additionally, some restaurants may be closed, as meals are not served everywhere.
The hotel's entertainment program will be canceled or restricted.
During Ramadan, eating, drinking, and smoking in public places is not permitted.

Entry requirements

German citizens can enter Oman visa-free for up to 14 days. For entry into Oman, a passport valid for at least 6 months after arrival is required, as well as a return flight ticket, a confirmed hotel reservation, health insurance, and sufficient financial means for the stay.
