Oman Grand Tour Round Trip

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Muscat
Arrival at Muscat International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 2: Muscat
During a full-day sightseeing tour, participants will get to know the capital of Oman. Magnificent buildings, historical sights, and traditional life in the Sultanate provide an initial impression of the country's rich culture and history. Overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 3: Muscat – Bimmah Sinkhole – Wadi Shab/Wadi Tiwi – Sur
Along the coast, the journey first leads to the Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone pool with turquoise blue water. Afterwards, the program includes Wadi Shab or Wadi Tiwi with their palm groves and impressive rock formations. After the included lunch, continue to the coastal town of Sur. Overnight stay in Sur.

Day 4: Sur – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands
The day begins with the journey to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most famous wadis in Oman. Clear water pools and lush vegetation create a delightful contrast to the surrounding mountain landscape. In the afternoon, the tour continues into the Wahiba Sands. The day concludes with an atmospheric sunset over the golden dunes of the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in the desert camp.

Day 5: Wahiba Sands – Nizwa
After breakfast, drive to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. During an orientation tour, participants will gain insights into the historical old town, the fortress, and the traditional souk, which is considered one of the most famous markets in the country. Overnight stay in Nizwa.

Day 6: Nizwa – Bahla – Jabreen – Al Hamra – Misfat Al Abriyeen
Today, some of the cultural and scenic highlights of the Omani hinterland are on the program. The route leads via Bahla and the impressive Jabreen Castle to Al Hamra, one of the oldest places in Oman. Afterwards, visit the picturesque mountain village of Misfat Al Abriyeen with its traditional mud houses and terraced gardens. Lunch included. Overnight stay in Nizwa.

Day 7: Nizwa – Jabal Shams
Today's journey leads into the mountains of the Hajar range. The destination is Jabal Shams, at around 3,000 meters the highest mountain in Oman. From the viewpoints along the so-called „Grand Canyon of Oman“, spectacular views open up over deep gorges and impressive rock landscapes. Dinner and overnight stay at Jabal Shams.
Day 8: Jabal Shams – Mountain villages – Wadi Ghul – Muscat
After breakfast, further impressions of the Omani mountain region are on the agenda. Passing traditional mountain villages and through the impressive Wadi Ghul, the journey leads back to the capital, Muscat. Lunch on the way. Overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 9: Departure from Muscat
Transfer to Muscat International Airport and individual return journey.

Sifawy Deluxe Suite

The beautiful Sifawy Deluxe Suites (S2D/S1D) feature the same amenities as the Sifawy Rooms, are slightly larger, and additionally include a small living area (optically separated). From the furnished balcony, guests have a direct view of the pool.

Marina Suite

The 54 m² Marina Suites (S2/S1) feature the same amenities as the Sifawy Rooms. In addition, the suites have a living area (optically separated from the bedroom) and a Nespresso machine. From the furnished balcony, guests enjoy a breathtaking view of the Hajar Mountains or the dreamy blue water of the Arabian Sea.

The 1 Bedroom Residences (RES) are approx. 120 m² and feature a bedroom and a large living area with a fully equipped kitchen. Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions in hotel operations. In addition, the hotels use this time for maintenance and minor renovation work, which may cause disturbances such as pool closures, etc. Furthermore, some restaurants may be closed, as meals are not served everywhere.
