Oman Essentials Round Trip

Itinerary

1st Day: Arrival Muscat
Arrival at Muscat International Airport and welcome by the local tour guide. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Muscat.

2nd Day: Muscat
Today is all about the Omani capital. Highlights include the impressive Sultan Qaboos Mosque, historic Old Muscat, and the picturesque Mutrah corniche. Visiting the traditional souq allows you to experience the oriental atmosphere of the country particularly intensely. Overnight stay in Muscat.

3rd Day: Muscat-Bimmah Sinkhole-Wadi Shab/Wadi Tiwi-Sur
Following the coast, the journey first leads to the Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone pool with crystal-clear water. Next on the program are Wadi Shab or Wadi Tiwi, with their spectacular rock formations, palm groves, and watercourses. After included lunch, continue to the port city of Sur. Overnight stay in Sur.

4th Day: Sur-Wadi Bani Khalid-Wahiba Sands
After traveling inland, participants will visit Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman's most beautiful wadis. Turquoise natural pools and lush vegetation form an impressive contrast to the surrounding mountain landscape. In the afternoon, continue to the Wahiba Sands. The vast dune landscape provides an unforgettable backdrop for the sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight stay at the desert camp.

5th Day: Wahiba Sands-Nizwa
After breakfast, drive to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. During an orientation tour, explore the historic old town and the traditional souq, which are among the most important cultural centers of the country. Overnight stay in Nizwa.

6th Day: Nizwa-Bahla-Jabreen-Al Hamra-Misfat Al Abriyeen-Muscat
Today's tour leads to some of the cultural highlights of the Omani highlands. Significant historical sites are on the program in Bahla and Jabreen. Further impressions are provided by the traditional village of Al Hamra and the picturesquely located mountain village of Misfat Al Abriyeen with its terraced gardens and characteristic mud houses. After lunch, return to Muscat and overnight stay.

7th Day: Departure Muscat
Transfer to Muscat International Airport and individual return journey.

The comfortable and modern Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2/DD1) are approx. 38 m² and feature a bathroom with shower/WC and a separate bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, air conditioning, safe, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, coffee and tea maker, minibar, and a furnished balcony or furnished terrace with garden view.

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Deluxe Double Room Sea View (DDM/DD1) feature the same size and amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms. From the furnished balcony, guests enjoy a view of the sea.

Premier Double Room

The Premier Double Rooms (PR2/PR1) are approx. 51 m² and, with otherwise identical amenities to the Deluxe Double Rooms, additionally feature high-quality toiletries by Shangri-La and high-speed Wi-Fi. From the furnished balcony or furnished terrace, guests look out onto the gardens, the pool, or the sea.

One Bedroom Suite

The One Bedroom Suites (OB2) are approx. 76 m² and, in addition to the same amenities as the Premier Double Rooms, feature a separate living room, toiletries by Luban Spa, BOSE speakers, Nespresso coffee machine, tea maker, gourmet minibar (refilled daily with non-alcoholic beverages, juices, beer, and snacks), and a fruit basket upon arrival. Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions in hotel operations. In addition, hotels use this time for maintenance and minor renovation work, during which disturbances such as pool closures etc. may occur. Furthermore, some restaurants may be closed, as meals are not served everywhere.
