Oman Essentials Round Trip

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Muscat
Arrival at Muscat International Airport and welcome by the local tour guide. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 2: Muscat
Today is dedicated to the Omani capital. Highlights include the impressive Sultan Qaboos Mosque, historic Old Muscat, and the picturesque Mutrah corniche. A visit to the traditional souk allows you to experience the oriental atmosphere of the country quite intensely. Overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 3: Muscat - Bimmah Sinkhole - Wadi Shab/Wadi Tiwi - Sur
The trip leads along the coast to the Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone basin with crystal-clear water. Next on the program are Wadi Shab or Wadi Tiwi with their spectacular rock formations, palm groves, and watercourses. After the included lunch, continue to the port city of Sur. Overnight stay in Sur.

Day 4: Sur - Wadi Bani Khalid - Wahiba Sands
After traveling further into the interior, participants will visit Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman's most beautiful wadis. Turquoise natural pools and lush vegetation provide an impressive contrast to the surrounding mountain landscape. In the afternoon, the journey continues into the Wahiba Sands. The vast dune landscape offers an unforgettable backdrop for the sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in the desert camp.

Day 5: Wahiba Sands - Nizwa
After breakfast, drive to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. During an orientation tour, you will explore the historic old town and the traditional souk, which rank among the most important cultural centers of the country. Overnight stay in Nizwa.

Day 6: Nizwa - Bahla - Jabreen - Al Hamra - Misfat Al Abriyeen - Muscat
Today's tour leads to some of the cultural highlights of the Omani highlands. Significant historic buildings are on the program in Bahla and Jabreen. Further impressions are provided by the traditional village of Al Hamra as well as the picturesquely situated mountain village of Misfat Al Abriyeen with its terraced gardens and characteristic mud-brick houses. After lunch, return drive to Muscat and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure from Muscat
Transfer to Muscat International Airport and individual return journey.

Sifawy Deluxe Suite

The beautiful Sifawy Deluxe Suites (S2D/S1D) feature the same amenities as the Sifawy Rooms, are slightly larger, and additionally include a small living area (optically separated). The furnished balcony offers a direct view of the pool.

Marina Suite

The 54 m² Marina Suites (S2/S1) feature the same amenities as the Sifawy Rooms. Additionally, these suites include a living area (optically separated from the bedroom) and a Nespresso machine. From the furnished balcony, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Hajar Mountain range or the dreamy blue water of the Arabian Sea.

Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions on hotel operations. In addition, hotels use this time for maintenance and minor renovation work, which may cause disturbances such as pool closures, etc. Furthermore, some restaurants may be closed, as meals are not served everywhere.
