This travel offer combines the „Oman Essentials“ round trip with a subsequent 5-night stay at the "Kempinski Muscat".

Meals at the Kempinski Muscat can be selected at the time of booking. During the round trip, meals are as per the program.

Oman Essentials Round Trip

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Muscat
Arrival at Muscat International Airport and greeting by the local tour guide. Followed by transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 2: Muscat
Today's focus is on the Omani capital. Highlights include the impressive Sultan Qaboos Mosque, historic Old Muscat, and the picturesque Mutrah corniche. A visit to the traditional souk allows you to experience the country's oriental atmosphere intensely. Overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 3: Muscat-Bimmah Sinkhole-Wadi Shab/Wadi Tiwi-Sur
The trip leads along the coast, first to the Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone basin with crystal-clear water. Next on the program are Wadi Shab or Wadi Tiwi with their spectacular rock formations, palm groves, and watercourses. After the included lunch, continue to the port city of Sur. Overnight stay in Sur.
Day 4: Sur-Wadi Bani Khalid-Wahiba Sands
After continuing into the interior, participants can expect one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman: Wadi Bani Khalid. Turquoise natural pools and lush vegetation form an impressive contrast to the surrounding mountain landscape. In the afternoon, the journey continues to the Wahiba Sands. The vast dune landscape offers an unforgettable backdrop for the sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in a desert camp.

Day 5: Wahiba Sands-Nizwa
After breakfast, drive to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. During an orientation tour, the historic old town and the traditional souk will be explored, which are among the country's most important cultural centers. Overnight stay in Nizwa.

Day 6: Nizwa-Bahla-Jabreen-Al Hamra-Misfat Al Abriyeen-Muscat
Today's route leads to some of the cultural highlights of the Omani mountains. Significant historic buildings are on the program in Bahla and Jabreen. Further impressions are provided by the traditional village of Al Hamra as well as the picturesquely located mountain village of Misfat Al Abriyeen with its terraced gardens and characteristic mud houses. After lunch, return trip to Muscat and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure from Muscat
Transfer to Muscat International Airport and individual departure.

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2/DD1) are spacious at 45 m² with bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, coffee/tea maker, safe, minibar for a fee, ironing station, and terrace or balcony facing the garden or the interior of the complex. Also bookable for an extra charge as a Deluxe Double Room with Sea View (DDM/DM1).
From 5.1.27, the Deluxe Double Rooms no longer have a balcony or terrace but a French balcony and are located in the main building.

Superior Double Room

With the same facilities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, the Superior Double Rooms (DSU/DSE) are located in the main building and have a French balcony.

Junior Suite

With the same facilities, the Junior Suites (JS2/JS1) offer 62 m² of living space as well as a sitting area with a sofa. The balcony faces the interior of the complex.
