Canyon View Pool Villa Chalet

The Canyon View Pool Villa Chalets (2PV) are approx. 123 m² and feature a separate bedroom, a separate living room, two bathrooms, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, mini-fridge, safe, TV, coffee/tea making facilities, and a terrace. The rooms feature a small private pool.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age requirement of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Local customs and etiquette:
Omanis are known for their warmth and hospitality. Visitors should respect local customs by dressing conservatively, especially at religious sites. Public displays of affection are generally avoided, and loud or disruptive behavior is discouraged.
Photography and drones:
Always ask for permission before taking photos of people. Avoid taking photos of government buildings and military locations. Flying drones without a license is illegal.
Alcohol and e-cigarettes:
Alcohol can be purchased and consumed in licensed venues such as hotels and restaurants; the legal minimum age for alcohol consumption is 21 years. It is also possible for visitors to make purchases in the airport's duty-free shops. Public intoxication is prohibited. E-cigarettes are illegal in Oman.

Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions on hotel operations. Furthermore, hotels often use this period for maintenance and minor renovation work, which may result in disruptions such as pool closures, etc. Additionally, some restaurants may be closed, as meals are not served everywhere.
The entertainment program at the hotel is either canceled or limited.
During Ramadan, eating, drinking, and smoking in public places is prohibited.

Entry requirements

German citizens can enter Oman visa-free for up to 14 days. To enter Oman, a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of arrival is required, as well as a return flight ticket, a confirmed hotel reservation, health insurance, and sufficient financial means for the stay.
