This chic 5-star resort features 82 villa-style rooms, a 24-hour reception, a bar, a main restaurant with a terrace, the LUX* Café, and the LUX* Me Wellness Center. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included on the private beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all rooms and public areas.

Deluxe Double Room (DD2)

The cosily furnished double rooms are located on the ground or first floor and are decorated in shades of white with brass and wood accents. Each room features a king-size bed or two single beds (ideal for travelling with children), a spacious bathroom with a rain shower, and a terrace or balcony. These rooms are equipped with: shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, wardrobe, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, telephone, kettle, minibar, desk, tea/coffee maker, and coffee machine. Also bookable for single use (DD1).

The lack of authorisation is not due to specific safety problems with the individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which do not currently meet the safety requirements of the EU.
However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
