The "The Mora Zanzibar" is situated on a 10-hectare beachfront property along the shores of a turquoise lagoon and features 250 luxurious suites with a blend of modern and exotic styles, creating an elegant, cozy, and relaxed ambiance. Furthermore, there are 4 restaurants ("Jua Grill" serving meat and vegetables grilled over an open flame, open several times a week from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM; "Jikan" with Asian-inspired dishes and live Teppanyaki shows, open several times a week from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM; "Horizon" main restaurant buffet-style, breakfast 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM, lunch 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM, and dinner 7:00 PM – 10:30 PM; and "Muyuni Beach Club" with Mediterranean dishes, lunch 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM and dinner 7:00 PM – 10:30 PM, not open for dinner on all days). All restaurants are distinct and some may not be open on certain days. The "Horizon" is open daily. Additionally, there is an ice cream parlor, a lobby bar, a Garden Pool bar (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM), and the Eclipse Pool bar (main bar, 9:00 AM to midnight) with views of the pool and the sea. The Muyuni Beach Club is open from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, and in the Muyuni Beach Club Roof Top, cocktails and all-inclusive drinks are served daily from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A DJ night takes place on the rooftop terrace on Fridays (10:00 PM – midnight). Wi-Fi included. Beach towels, sun loungers, and umbrellas are available at the beach. The hotel has a total of 6 swimming pools.

Superior Junior Suite (JGB)

The Superior Junior Suites feature satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, king-size or twin beds, bathroom with shower and separate WC with bidet, wardrobe, hairdryer, bathrobes, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. They offer privacy and tranquility with fantastic views of the resort's green vegetation and are located on either the ground floor or the first floor. 19 units can be converted into connecting rooms. Also bookable for single occupancy (J1G).

Superior Junior Suite King Ocean View (2JO)

The Superior Junior Suites King Ocean have the same basic amenities as the Superior Junior Suites and are characterized by a harmonious tropical and modern design, some with side views of the Indian Ocean. They are located on either the ground floor or the first floor. Also bookable for single occupancy (1JO).

Superior Suite King (JU2)

The Superior Suites King have the same basic amenities as the Superior Junior Suites, are additionally larger, and offer a local flair with furniture and furnishings carefully crafted to combine authentic traditional African colors with a luxurious style. They are located on either the ground floor or the first floor. Also bookable for single occupancy (JU1). Available with ocean view for an extra charge (2JM).

Superior Suite King Ocean View Whirlpool (S2J)

These rooms have the same basic amenities as the Superior Suite King Ocean View, plus a private Jacuzzi with a view of the ocean.

Your minibar will be restocked daily with 2x beer, 2x Coca-Cola, 2x Sprite, 1x water, and 1x tonic water. Additionally, a complimentary welcome drink and snack upon arrival at the resort. Please note that hotel check-in, regardless of arrival time, only takes place from 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM.
We would like to inform you that all airlines from Tanzania are currently on the EU's so-called ‘blacklist’. For this reason, they are currently not authorised to operate long-haul flights to the EU. We are therefore not currently using any of these airlines for our long-haul flights to the EU.
The lack of authorisation is not due to specific safety problems with the individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which do not currently meet the safety requirements of the EU.
However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
