Spend relaxing days on the directly adjacent private white sandy beach or in the tropical hotel garden with 2 freshwater pools. In the Spa Earth & Rain, you can also leave everyday stress behind with a relaxing massage, for example.
The resort is located approximately 45 km from Stone Town, the oldest part of Zanzibar City. Here you will experience the flair of the 19th century and discover magnificent buildings. The distance to the international airport is approximately 45 km.

The bungalow-style complex features 194 rooms in African style, a reception, private sandy beach, spa & wellness center and sauna (both for a fee), gym, souvenir shop, business center (for a fee), hairdresser and beauty salon, outdoor play equipment, and conference and event rooms. For culinary diversity, there are 5 restaurants offering regional cuisine, fish and seafood, as well as Indian, Italian, and Thai cuisine, plus 3 bars. In the tropical garden of the complex, there are 2 freshwater pools (year-round) including a children's pool.

The Deluxe Double Garden Rooms are surrounded by the beautiful tropical garden and are equipped with a large balcony, air conditioning, walk-in shower/WC, mosquito nets, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, coffee/tea maker, mini-bar, and safe (DD2).

Beachfront Suite Sea View

The suites are equipped like the Deluxe Garden Rooms and have a bedroom and a separate seating area. They are located in individual beachfront villas with sea views in the first row. The large bathroom also features a whirlpool bath.

Deluxe Double Room Garden Partial Sea View (from 1.11. DDS)

Same facilities as the Deluxe Double Garden Rooms, but these rooms are located in front of the Deluxe Garden Double Rooms and have partial sea views.

The main restaurant serves breakfast (7-9:30 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (7-9:30 pm) in buffet style. The snack bar is open from 10 am to 6 pm. Here you will find international and national dishes. Some dishes are prepared at the show cooking station. Regular theme nights are held. The three à la carte restaurants (Italian, Indian, and Thai) are open from 8 pm to 9:30 pm (reservations required). The à la carte gourmet restaurant (Seafood) on the beach is available for an additional charge. The bars serve cocktails, house wines, local beers, soft drinks, juices, water, tea, and coffee, as well as snacks at selected times. There is a coconut stand on the beach.

Please note that hotel check-in is not before 2 PM or 3 PM, regardless of arrival time.
We would like to inform you that all airlines from Tanzania are currently on the EU's so-called ‘blacklist’. For this reason, they are currently not authorised to operate long-haul flights to the EU. We are therefore not currently using any of these airlines for our long-haul flights to the EU.
The lack of authorisation is not due to specific safety problems with the individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which do not currently meet the safety requirements of the EU.
However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
