Double Africa Juniorsuite (D2T)

The Double Africa Junior Suites have been refreshed with a new look and Schauinsland-Reisen's own design. The rooms are located on the lower floor and are approximately 48 sqm, including the terrace. They feature a king-size bed, a sofa, a minibar (included once upon arrival when booking the Double Africa, filled with 2 beers and 4 soft drinks; refills are subject to charge), a safe, a desk, a hairdryer, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with a shower, a mosquito net, a fan, air conditioning, and a tea and coffee maker.

Double Room

The double rooms (30 sqm) are equipped with a minibar (for a fee), safe, hairdryer, telephone, flat-screen TV, mosquito net, fan, and air conditioning. A tea and coffee making facility is also provided.
The rooms have a terrace or balcony.
Sea view rooms on the first floor with a balcony (DM) and Type B (DB) including a 30-minute massage in the SPA area and a bottle of house wine upon arrival in the room, or Deluxe (DM2) with pool and sea view are available for an additional charge.
A limited number of rooms are available at a special price as Double Room Type I (DI).

Baboon Swim-Up Suite (2SU)

The Baboon Swim-Up Suites have been refreshed with a new look and Schauinsland-Reisen's own design. The rooms are approximately 72 sqm including the terrace. All rooms are on the ground floor with a shared swimming area (1.4 m deep) with a private terrace, sun loungers, a bedroom with a king-size bed, a living room, a minibar (included once upon arrival when booking the Baboon Swim-Up Suite, filled with 2 beers and 4 soft drinks; refills are subject to charge), a safe, hairdryer, telephone, wardrobe, flat-screen TV, a bathroom with a shower, mosquito net, fan, air conditioning, and a tea and coffee maker.

These suites (45 sqm) are exclusively bookable through Schauinsland-Reisen and are equipped with a minibar (for a fee), safe, hairdryer, telephone, flat-screen TV, mosquito net, fan, air conditioning, and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms also feature a private terrace with sea view and a private pool.

Family Room

The family rooms have the same basic amenities as the double rooms and feature 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

Junior Suite Sea View (J2M)

Same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe Sea View (approx. 36 sqm), with a Jacuzzi on the balcony or terrace.

VIP Package (bookable with booking reference: KW and service: VIP001)

The package must be booked per person and can only be booked for a minimum stay of 7 days: a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket upon arrival in the room, 1 complimentary minibar refill (with wine, 6 soft drinks, 2 beers, and 2 juices), tea and coffee maker, bathrobe and slippers, beach towels in the room, entrance to the spa area with a 30-minute massage once per stay, a spice box, and 1 private seafood dinner on the beach.

Romantic Package (bookable with booking reference: KW and service: RMP001)

The package must be booked per person and is only available for stays of 7 days or more: romantic room decoration, a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket upon arrival, tea and coffee maker in the room, bathrobe and slippers, a duo massage for 30 minutes (once per stay), a candlelit dinner (once per stay) on the beach during your stay, and a private breakfast on a boat on the sand at the beach (once per stay).

Loft (LM)

These unique rooms (approx. 77 sqm) are in a fantastic beachfront location with breathtaking sea views, directly on the first line. The rooms feature a private pool (approx. 1.40 m deep) and a private terrace with loungers, an umbrella, and seating. The loft consists of 2 floors with oversized windows with blinds. Even from the bed, you have a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. The upper floor has a king-size bed, a bathroom with a shower, and an open walk-in closet. The ground floor has a cozy seating area and another bathroom with a shower. The room is also equipped with amenities such as a hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, 2 minibars (for a fee), a safe, bathrobes, a telephone, a flat-screen TV (on the lower floor), air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, and an ice cube machine.

Please note that hotel check-in, regardless of arrival time, is only from 2 PM or 3 PM.
We would like to inform you that all airlines from Tanzania are currently on the EU's so-called ‘blacklist’. For this reason, they are currently not authorised to operate long-haul flights to the EU. We are therefore not currently using any of these airlines for our long-haul flights to the EU.
The lack of authorisation is not due to specific safety problems with the individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which do not currently meet the safety requirements of the EU.
However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
