Location

The lovingly designed Le Duc de Praslin Hotel complex is situated in the heart of a tropical garden, directly by the picturesque "Anse Volbert" bay, separated from the long, white sandy beach "Côte D'Or" only by a small coastal road. The hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature. The famous "Anse Lazio" beach and the "Vallée de Mai National Park" are nearby. The transfer from Malé airport takes approximately 20 minutes to the port, followed by a ferry trip to the island of Praslin (approx. 75 minutes) and a final 20-minute drive from the port to the hotel.

The "Jewel of the Côte D'Or" consists of several 1-story buildings housing a total of 65 accommodation units. In addition to a reception area with seating, the complex features a boutique and a hairdresser. Guests are catered for by the main restaurant "Le Dauphin," serving Creole and international cuisine, as well as the à-la-carte restaurant "Café des Artes," offering delicacies from Neptune's realm. Cool refreshments are served at two bars. The hotel's outdoor area is a blooming paradise with numerous orchid species, tropical palms, and fish ponds. Three freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's pools, as well as a sunbathing area and sun terrace, invite you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are provided free of charge.

These modern rooms with a Creole flair (approx. 55 m²) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (fee required), safe, LCD satellite TV, iPod docking station, CD player, coffee/tea maker and espresso machine, as well as a balcony or terrace. Superior Room

The comfortable and tastefully furnished Superior Rooms (approx. 65m²) feature a king-size bed, seating area, bathroom or shower/WC, and a furnished balcony or terrace. Further amenities include air conditioning and a ceiling fan. (DSU)

For your international flights to/from Mahé, please take note of the ferry times for hotel bookings on neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). In case of arrival after 1 PM or return flights before 12 PM, a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In the event of arrival/departure outside the specified times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at customs, our local agency will take care of an overnight stay on Mahé for you. Should your booked flight times fall outside the specified time frames, please book an overnight stay on Mahé through your travel agency.
