Location

This small, Seychellois-run hotel is located directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in Praslin, "Côte D'Or". The hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature. The famous "Anse Lazio" beach and the "Vallée de Mai National Park" are nearby. There are several shops and restaurants in the area. The transfer involves a car ride of approx. 20 minutes from Mahé airport to the port, followed by a ferry trip to the island of Praslin (approx. 75 minutes), and finally a drive of approx. 15 minutes from the port to the hotel.

Facilities

At "Praslin's Green Hotel", the name says it all: the complex blends harmoniously into the natural environment. During construction, great importance was placed on environmentally friendly materials, and the majority of the buildings were constructed using African mahogany, which gave the hotel its name. Partially renovated in 2025, the hotel offers 10 two-story buildings housing a total of 58 rooms. Amenities include a reception area with seating, a boutique, a small library, and a hairdresser. Culinary needs are catered for by the main restaurant "Les Boucaniers" and the "Starfish" restaurant, both offering international cuisine as well as grilled dishes and specialties from Neptune's realm. Cool refreshments are served at 3 bars. In the tropical garden, the infinity swimming pool—offering a dreamlike view of the beach and the "Curieuse Marine National Park"—as well as a separate children's pool and the sun terrace invite you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are available free of charge.

Standard Room

The recently renovated rooms (approx. 36 m²) are decorated in a "Tropical Island Vibes" style and consist of a combined living/sleeping area. They feature a bathroom with a rain shower/WC, bathrobe, hairdryer, vanity mirror, air conditioning (individually adjustable), safe, desk, coffee/tea maker, kettle, minibar (for a fee), telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, tiled floor, and a furnished balcony facing the garden.

Please note that an environmental sustainability fee is charged locally. This fee is to be paid in cash directly to the hotel per person/night and is currently between €1.80 and €7.20 (depending on the size of the hotel). Children under 13 years are exempt from this regulation.
For your international flights to/from Mahé, please note the ferry times for hotel bookings on neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). In case of arrival after 1 p.m. or departure before 12 p.m., a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In the event of arrival/departure outside the aforementioned times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay on Mahé for you. If your booked flight times fall outside the specified time windows, please book an overnight stay on Mahé through your travel agency.
