Location

This small, Seychellois-run hotel is located directly on one of the most beautiful beaches on Praslin, "Côte D'Or". The hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature. The famous "Anse Lazio" beach and the "Vallée de Mai National Park" are nearby. There are several shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Transfers take place from Mahé airport (approx. 20-minute drive to the port), followed by a ferry to the island of Praslin (approx. 75 minutes), and finally a approx. 15-minute drive from the port to the hotel.

Facilities

In "Praslin's green hotel", the name says it all: the resort blends harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Great importance was placed on using natural materials during construction, and the majority of the buildings were built with African mahogany wood, which gave the hotel its name. The hotel, partially renovated in 2025, offers 10 two-story buildings housing a total of 58 rooms. Amenities include a reception area with seating, a boutique, a small library, and a hairdresser. For dining, the main restaurant "Les Boucaniers" and the "Starfish" restaurant both offer international cuisine, as well as grilled dishes and specialties from Neptune's realm. Cool refreshments are served at 3 bars. In the tropical garden, the infinity swimming pool—offering a stunning view of the beach and the "Curieuse Marine National Park"—a separate children's pool, and the sun terrace invite you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are provided free of charge.

The recently renovated rooms (approx. 36 m²) are decorated in a "Tropical Island Vibes" style and consist of a combined living/sleeping area and feature a bathroom with rainfall shower/WC, bathrobe, hairdryer, vanity mirror, air conditioning (individually adjustable), safe, desk, coffee/tea maker, electric kettle, minibar (for a fee), telephone, flatscreen satellite TV, tile flooring, and a furnished balcony facing the garden.
