Location

The Castello Beach Hotel is located in a dream setting, in the northwest of Praslin Island, directly on three white, fine-sandy, and gently sloping bays of "Anse Kerlan". Shops and entertainment facilities can be found in the town of "Grand Anse", approximately 5 km away. The transfer from Mahé airport takes about 20 minutes to the harbor, from there by ferry to Praslin Island (approx. 75 minutes), and then about 20 minutes' drive from the harbor to the hotel.

Facilities

The small, family-friendly resort with a cozy ambiance offers three single-story buildings with a total of 26 units. Facilities include a reception area with seating and a bar offering breathtaking views of unforgettable sunsets. Culinary delights of international and local cuisine are served in the "Sea View Restaurant". The tropical outdoor area features an infinity freshwater swimming pool and a sun terrace. Loungers, sun umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

During high tide, sunbathing and swimming opportunities on the hotel beach are limited. Swim shoes are recommended.
Please note that an eco-sustainability fee is charged locally. This fee is to be paid in cash directly to the hotel per person per night and currently ranges from €1.80 to €7.20 (depending on the size of the hotel). Children under 13 years of age are exempt from this regulation.
For your international inbound and outbound flights to/from Mahé, ferry times must be observed for hotel bookings on the neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If arriving after 1:00 PM or departing before 12:00 PM, a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In case of arrival/departure outside the above times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long immigration waiting times, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mahé for you. If your booked flight times fall outside the specified periods, please book an overnight stay in Mahé through your travel agency.
