Location

The Castello Beach Hotel is situated in a dreamlike location in the northwest of the island of Praslin, directly on three white, fine-sandy, and shallow bays of "Anse Kerlan". Shopping and entertainment facilities can be found in the town of "Grand Anse", approximately 5 km away. The transfer involves a journey of about 20 minutes from Mahé airport to the harbor, followed by a ferry to Praslin island (approx. 75 minutes), and then a drive of about 20 minutes from the harbor to the hotel.

Facilities

The small, family-friendly resort with a cozy ambiance offers three single-story buildings with a total of 26 accommodation units. Facilities include a reception area with seating and a bar offering breathtaking views of unforgettable sunsets. Culinary delights of international and local cuisine are served in the "Sea View Restaurant". In the tropical outdoor area, there is an infinity freshwater swimming pool and a sun terrace. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

During high tide, the sunbathing and swimming facilities at the hotel beach are limited. Bathing shoes are recommended.
Please note that an environmental sustainability fee is charged locally. This fee is payable in cash directly to the hotel per person per night and currently ranges between €1.80 and €7.20 (depending on the hotel's size). Children under 13 years of age are exempt from this regulation.
For your international round-trip flight to/from Mahé, please consider the ferry times for hotel bookings on the neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If you arrive after 1 PM or depart before 12 PM, a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In case of arrival/departure outside the above-mentioned times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long immigration waiting times, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mahé for you. If your booked flight times fall outside the above-mentioned periods, please book an overnight stay in Mahé through your travel agency.
