Location

The family-run boutique hotel is located on the north coast of Mahé, directly on the natural sandy beach. The island capital Victoria is about a 20-minute drive away. The transfer time to the airport is approximately 40 minutes.

Facilities

The Carana Beach Hotel is built in a modern Creole style and features 40 chalets that blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Facilities include a reception area with seating, a small boutique, and a lounge bar. For dining, there is the main restaurant "Lorizon" offering international and regional cuisine with grilled dishes, as well as the "Carana Beach" restaurant with grilled dishes and seafood specialties. In addition to the main building, a swimming pool with sun terraces and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean invites you to relax and unwind. Sunshades, loungers, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

Oceanview Chalet

The chalets (approx. 43m²) blend harmoniously into the tropical landscape. The soft grey and earth tones in the interiors create a shimmering contrast to the magnificent view. Amenities include a spacious bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso coffee machine®, minibar (for a fee), telephone, TV, safe, and an open terrace with sea view.

Oceanview Pool Chalet

These chalets have a slightly larger terrace with a private plunge pool, in addition to the same amenities.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.
