Location

The La Digue Island Lodge is nestled in a tropical, exotic garden with dreamlike vegetation, directly on the beach "Anse Reunion" on the island of La Digue. Various restaurants and shops, as well as the well-known granite rock formations, are nearby. The transfer from the airport on Mahé takes approximately 20 minutes to the port, from there by ferry to the island of La Digue (approx. 2 hours with a stopover in Praslin), and then a further approx. 10-minute drive from the port to your hotel.

Facilities

The tastefully designed hotel offers a total of 72 accommodation units, spread throughout the tropical complex. Facilities include a reception area with a front desk and currency exchange service, a hotel safe (free of charge), and a common lounge with a TV area. For your culinary enjoyment, there is a restaurant serving local and international delicacies, as well as three bars. In the extensive garden complex, you'll find a pool with an integrated children's pool, and the sun terrace invites you to relax. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

A-Frame Garden Chalet

The chalets (approx. 45m²) feature a shower/WC, air conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities, TV, telephone, safe (included), mini-fridge, and a terrace, and are freestanding (GZ2).

During high tide, the availability of sunbathing and swimming areas on the hotel beach may be limited.
Please note that a fee for ecological sustainability will be charged locally. This fee is payable per person per night directly in cash to the hotel and currently ranges between €1.80 and €7.20 (depending on the size of the hotel). Children under 13 years of age are exempt from this regulation.
For your international inbound and outbound flights to/from Mahé, please observe the ferry times for hotel bookings on the neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If you arrive after 1:00 PM or depart before 12:00 PM, a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In case of arrival/departure outside the above-mentioned times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mahé for you. Should your booked flight times fall outside the aforementioned periods, please book an overnight stay in Mahé through your travel agent.
