Location

Chateau St. Cloud is idyllically situated inland, directly at the foot of the mountain "Nid d’Aigle". The picturesque beaches are about a 5-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk away. Shops are within a 10-minute walk. The transfer from Mahé airport takes about 20 minutes to the harbor, from there by ferry to La Digue island (approx. 2 hours with a stopover in Praslin), and then about a 10-minute drive from the harbor to the hotel.

The charming chateau, a former vanilla plantation, has a total of 24 rooms spread throughout the complex. Facilities include a reception, a small souvenir shop, and a bar. Culinary delights are served in the restaurant. The swimming pool with sun terrace in the tropical garden invites you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool.

At high tide, the sunbathing and swimming facilities at the hotel beach are limited.

For your international outbound and return flights to/from Mahé, please observe the ferry times for hotel bookings on the neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If you arrive after 1 p.m. or depart before 12 p.m., a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In case of arrival/departure outside the above times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long immigration waiting times, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mahé for you. If your booked flight times fall outside the above-mentioned periods, please book an overnight stay in Mahé through your travel agency.
