Location

The adults-only resort is located directly on the beautiful beach of Le Morne in the southwest of Mauritius. La Gaulette, with its shopping and entertainment options and a supermarket, is approximately 10 km away. The RIU Palace Mauritius is located directly next to its sister hotel RIU Turquoise. The capital Port Louis is about 60 km away. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 90 minutes.

The Riu Palace Mauritius has 310 rooms. In addition to a main restaurant with live cooking stations, there are two further à la carte restaurants, the "Krystal" and "Koari Asian" restaurants, as well as two more à la carte restaurants in the neighboring hotel RIU Turquoise (Indian and Steakhouse). Refreshing drinks are served at three different bars. Outside, there are 2 swimming pool areas, one of which is exclusively for Elite Club guests. Sun terraces with sun loungers, mattresses, and umbrellas are available free of charge.

The Junior Suites (approx. 33 m²) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, Smart TV, air conditioning (centrally controlled), safe (included), minibar (included), kettle, and a furnished balcony or terrace. Suites with a side or direct sea view are also available at an extra charge.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style. Dinner can also be enjoyed at one of the four à la carte restaurants (two of which are located at RIU Turquoise, reservations required). Continental late risers' breakfast at the sports bar (10:30 AM - 12 PM), pizza, pasta, and salad at the snack bar (12 PM - 3 PM), and snacks (3 PM - 5 PM). Local and imported non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available at the open bars (10 AM - 12 AM) and 24 hours a day at the sports bar in RIU Turquoise. The beach bar at RIU Turquoise can also be used.

Sports included

At the sister hotel RIU Turquoise: Fitness room in the spa area (ages 16 and up), daily group fitness activities, beach volleyball, windsurfing (with beginner equipment), kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and a trial scuba dive in the pool once per stay.

Sports for a fee

Diving, advanced windsurfing, and kitesurfing (all at the sister hotel RIU Turquoise), as well as golf at approx. 19 km ("Heritage Golf") and approx. 30 km ("Tamarina Golf").

Wellness

"Renova Spa" at RIU Turquoise: Steam bath, whirlpool, and fitness room are accessible free of charge. Beauty salon treatments, massages, and a hairdresser are available for a fee.
