Location

The resort is located directly on the beautiful beach of Le Morne in the southwest of Mauritius. La Gaulette, with its shopping and entertainment facilities and a supermarket, is approximately 10 km away. The RIU Turquoise is located right next to its sister hotel, RIU Palace Mauritius. The capital city, Port Louis, is about 60 km away. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 90 minutes.

The RIU Turquoise was completely renovated in 2024 and offers 390 rooms spread across two buildings with 2-3 floors. Facilities include a lobby with reception and seating areas, as well as a boutique. For dining, there is the main restaurant "La Gaulette" with show-cooking stations, two à la carte restaurants (Indian and a steakhouse), and four bars. The outdoor area features a sun terrace and two swimming pools, a swim-up bar (for guests 18+), and a separate children's pool with slides. Umbrellas, sun loungers, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool. Sun loungers are also available free of charge on the beach.

The bright and modernly furnished double rooms (29m²) feature a bathroom with shower and toilet, bathrobe/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, and a furnished balcony or terrace. Rooms with a side or direct sea view can also be booked at an additional charge.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. Dinner can also be enjoyed at the à la carte restaurants (reservations required). Local and imported non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks, are available at the open bars. The minibar is replenished every second day. Additionally, pastries are served during the day at the Sports Bar. The safe is also free to use.
