Location

The RIU Palace Tikida Taghazout is located directly on the beachfront and offers magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. The complex is separated from the long sandy beach only by a promenade. The region around Taghazout is well-known for its excellent surf spots. The former fishing village of Taghazout, which has developed into a picturesque holiday destination, offers a variety of shops and restaurants and is located just 5 kilometers away. Further shopping and entertainment options can be found in the center of Agadir, which is situated about 15 km south of the hotel. Agadir also features a stunning harbor and a beautiful beach promenade that invites guests for long walks. Agadir Al Massira Airport is approx. 42 km away.

The hotel, belonging to the renowned RIU chain, has 504 modern and spacious rooms spread across a three-story main building. The upper floors can be easily reached by elevator. In the spacious outdoor area, there is a well-maintained garden with a terrace. Centrally located within the complex is a generous pool landscape consisting of five pools (one of which is heated in winter) and an indoor pool (heated in winter). Additionally, the complex features a separate children's pool and two adults-only infinity pools with views of the Atlantic. Pool towels, sun loungers, cushions, and parasols are provided to guests free of charge at the pool. Sun loungers and parasols are also included at the hotel's private beach section.
The four restaurants offer culinary variety. These include the main restaurant "Le Tara" with a buffet selection and three à la carte restaurants: "Krystal" featuring fusion cuisine, "Le Musk" with Moroccan specialties, and "Bâbor" as a steakhouse and pool restaurant. The versatile offering is complemented by six bars, which serve refreshments and hot drinks around the clock.

Modernly furnished double rooms (D) are spacious with approx. 46 m² of living space and feature bath/WC, hairdryer, vanity mirror, bathrobes, air conditioning/heating, telephone (for a fee), satellite TV, tea/coffee maker, minibar (regularly restocked), safe, seating area with sofa bed, and a balcony or terrace.

In the "Le Tara" restaurant, guests can enjoy a diverse breakfast buffet with live cooking stations, fruit, juices, and various traditional breakfast dishes from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Dinner is served in buffet form from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. and includes live cooking stations as well as a selection of desserts. Vegetarian options are available, and special themed evenings take place twice a week.
The fusion restaurant "Krystal" offers an optional à la carte dinner. A reservation is required, and there are two seatings: from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
At the Moroccan restaurant "Le Musk," guests can also enjoy an optional à la carte dinner. A reservation is required, and two seatings are available: from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
The pool restaurant "Bâbor" offers a continental breakfast buffet from 10:30 to 12:00 p.m. Lunch is served in buffet form from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. with live cooking stations and a selection of desserts. In the afternoon, various snacks are available in buffet form from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. For dinner, the restaurant turns into a steakhouse, serving dishes à la carte. The restaurant offers two seatings: from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. (prior reservation required).
The bars offer a variety of drinks available to guests at all times. The "Capuchino" patisserie is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., while the lobby bar "Jungle Bar" is open 24 hours a day. The lounge bar "Terrasse des Épices Bar Plaza," featuring a stage, invites guests to its terrace from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The pool bar "Le Bouba" is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as is the "Wave" pool bar. The "Amazonien" swim-up bar, open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., is exclusively for guests aged 18 and over.
