Location

The AHG Lion Beach Resort & Spa is located on the peninsula surrounded by the Indian Ocean on three sides. Thanks to its great location, the hotel offers a charming panorama, a vibrant atmosphere, and proximity to nature parks and reserves. It is the perfect starting point for those who want to combine a relaxing holiday with an adventurous safari. Mombasa Airport is approx. 90 minutes by car (128 km) away, Malindi approx. 15 minutes (22 km).

The Lion Beach Resort has a total of 64 comfortably furnished rooms in a modern African style. The large swimming pool in the center of the complex, surrounded by green areas, is equipped with sun loungers and deckchairs and offers the optimal opportunity for relaxation. The secluded Lion's Beach is located in the northern corner of the famous Watamu Bay and is unique due to its idyllic turquoise blue water and soft white sand. The beach is also equipped with sun loungers and a shaded area. Guests can enjoy refreshing drinks and cocktails at the Wimbi Bar. Additionally, excursions and safaris can be booked through the resort to discover the landscapes and local culture.

Double Room

The bright, classic double rooms are located on the ground floor near the pool and have a beautiful terrace. Generally, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, free Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer, minibar, safe, and a tea and coffee set.

Double Room Sea View

The double rooms with sea view have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located on the first floor of the building, also near the pool. Furthermore, these rooms offer a view of Watamu Bay from the balcony.

Superior Double Room Sea View

The superior double rooms with sea view also have the same amenities as the double room, but additionally offer an impressive view of the sea along the north coast of the peninsula. The atmosphere of the Indian Ocean can be optimally enjoyed from the terrace.

Family Room Sea View

The family rooms can accommodate up to 4 adults, are located on the highest part of the peninsula and have a terrace with a view of the Indian Ocean. They also have the same basic amenities as the double rooms.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet with local and seasonal specialties. Late risers' breakfast at the bar from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (soft drinks, coffee, tea) as well as cocktails, house wine, and local beer from 10 AM to 10 PM at the respective open bars. Coffee, tea, and cake until 5 PM.

Wellness

The IKI Wellness Center pampers its guests with a selection of traditional African massage treatments. Among the various treatments are aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, focus, or deep tissue massages. Additionally, manicures, pedicures, facials, braiding and extensions, as well as henna tattoos are offered.
