Location

The Diani Sea Resort is located directly on Diani Beach, about 35 kilometers south of Mombasa, Kenya's second-largest city. The airport is approximately 42 km away.

The popular hotel complex has 170 rooms and general facilities include a 24-hour reception, a main restaurant, and 3 bars (beach bar, Maasai Bar, pool bar). In the outdoor area, there is a well-maintained garden with a pool and waterslide, as well as a sun terrace. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are free of charge.

Double Room Comfort

The Comfort Rooms feature a double bed or two single beds with mosquito nets, individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe, a bathroom with shower/WC and bidet (last renovated in 2020/2021), hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV (no German channels), tea-making facilities, a minibar for a fee, and a furnished balcony (Wi-Fi on the balcony) overlooking the garden or pool (2CD/1CD).

The rooms have the same amenities as the Comfort Rooms and some have a sea view (D/DE). Can also be booked as a double room for single occupancy. Additionally, the minibar is replenished daily (water and beer).

Promo Double Room

Same amenities as the Comfort Double Room, but a limited quota and a special price.

Family Room Comfort

Same amenities as the Comfort Double Room, additionally slightly larger and with an extra room with one or two beds with a fan.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Snacks at the snack bar from 11 am to 4 pm. A selection of national and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11 am to midnight at the open bars.

Sports included

Gym, beach volleyball, yoga, water aerobics, boccia, billiards, darts, table tennis, tennis.

Sports for a fee

Provided by local operators: kitesurfing, jet skiing, scuba diving, glass-bottom boat trips, deep-sea fishing, golf.
Particularly noteworthy is the Kitesurf School 254 located directly on the beach in front of the Diani Sea Lodge. The school is run by a German founder and owner, and together with her team, she offers great courses for beginners, intermediates, and professionals.
