Location

The Severin Sea Lodge is an oasis of peace and relaxation amidst a sprawling palm garden. It is located on Bamburi Beach directly on the Indian Ocean. Restaurants and bars are in close proximity to the hotel. The port city of Mombasa is only approx. 12km from the hotel, and the airport and train station are approx. 20km away.

The lodge has 188 rooms and suites, a 24-hour reception, 3 restaurants, 3 bars (incl. swim-up bar), a rooftop terrace, souvenir shop, and 2 swimming pools (with jacuzzi). Sun loungers and bath towels by the pool are included.

Bungalow Deluxe

These rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms (between 25 and 29 sqm) but are located in the bungalow area (2BC/1BC). Sea view can be booked for an additional charge (B2M/B1M).

Doppelzimmer

The rooms feature air conditioning, mosquito net, balcony, telephone, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, safe, vanity table, refrigerator, bathroom with a walk-in shower, ceiling fan, coffee and tea making facilities, minibar (not refilled, only on request), seating area, and balcony (D/DE).

Doppelzimmer Deluxe

The Deluxe Rooms offer air conditioning, a lounge area, mosquito net, hypoallergenic bedding, telephone and Wi-Fi access, hairdryer and toiletries, room safe, vanity table, room service, and wake-up service. The rooms also have a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. Additionally, they are equipped with a queen-size bed or two twin beds and a balcony, and feature a 41-inch flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar, and a ceiling fan (DD2/DD1). Interconnecting rooms are available upon request.

Meals

Breakfast or Half Board

Breakfast incl. late riser breakfast, early morning coffee at the beach bar, tea time, and buffet dinner. Fruits and vegetables are mostly from the hotel's own organic farm.
Very good value for money, the extra costs for lunch and drinks are fair. Price lists are available.
