The safari can be booked from November 1st, 2026 with arrivals on Mondays. Arrival and departure from/to the hotel are by car to the national park.
Day 1: "Mombasa-Tsavo West National Park": In the morning, you will be picked up by the driver at the reception of your booked beach hotel and depart in a comfortable safari vehicle to the Bachuma Gate, where you can take a short break. Continue to the Tsavo River Gate, where the exciting safari begins with the first game drive. The route to the Severin Safari Camp leads along the Chyulu Hills and the vast African savannas. Lunch at the "Out of Africa" restaurant. In the afternoon, there is an excursion to the popular Mzima Springs, a small oasis with palm and acacia trees. This crystal-clear spring, idyllically surrounded by papyrus plants, is the most important water source for the city of Mombasa. The area is a paradise for fish, hippos, and crocodiles. In the evening, enjoy an à la carte dinner at the restaurant. After an exciting day in the wilderness, you can watch the passing animals while relaxing by the campfire.
Day 2: The day begins with an early morning game drive along the springs of the Tsavo River – the lifeline for hippos and crocodiles. Upon return to the camp, breakfast awaits the guests. Afterwards, there is time to relax, for example, at the KENBALI Spa (for a fee). Lunch is followed by an à la carte menu at the restaurant. In the late afternoon, drive to the highlight of the day. At Poacher's Lookout, guests can enjoy the beautiful sunset with a glass of sparkling wine and canapés. From here, there is a wonderful view over the El Turesh bushland. On the way back to the camp, guests will experience the African savanna at night – an unforgettable adventure. When the driver turns off the engine, you can enjoy the silence in the middle of the wilderness under the starry sky. After an exciting day in the African bush, a culinary dinner awaits guests at the camp.
Day 3: The day begins with breakfast, after which your driver will take you to the Tsavo River Gate. The game drive leads along the Roaring Rocks, which served as a hiding place for the Mau Mau fighters during the Kenyan independence war. Along the way, you can once again enjoy the unique landscapes and the breathtaking wildlife of Kenya. After departing from Tsavo West National Park, the route leads back to the Bachuma Gate and on to Mombasa. After an exciting time in the African wilderness, you will arrive at your booked beach hotel in the afternoon.
Minimum participants: 2 people.
Safaris can start on the 2nd day of your stay at the earliest. Latest return to the booked beach hotel is 2 days before departure. Program sequence may change.
Private safaris can be booked upon request and for a fee.
