Travel itinerary

Experience exciting wildlife viewing in the private Ngutuni Wildlife Conservancy, overlooking a popular waterhole.
Day 1:
After an early breakfast at the Papillon Lagoon Reef, you will be picked up by your safari guide around 7:00 AM for the journey to Ngutuni Lodge. The lodge is situated within a private wildlife sanctuary of approx. 4,000 hectares on the border of Tsavo East National Park (185 km/approx. 4 hours driving time). After arrival and check-in, there is time to relax before lunch.
In the afternoon, the first exciting game drive in the Ngutuni Sanctuary begins. The sanctuary is home to large herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other animal species. At dusk, you will return to the lodge for dinner. With a bit of luck, you may see elephants gathering at the illuminated waterhole directly in front of the lodge in the evening.
Overnight stay at Ngutuni Lodge (with full board).
Day 2:
Early in the morning, enjoy a hot drink and light pastries before setting off for a morning game drive. The early morning hours are considered the best time for wildlife viewing as many animals are still actively searching for food before temperatures rise.
After returning to the lodge, enjoy a relaxed breakfast with a view of the waterhole. Following this, the return journey to Mombasa begins (185 km/approx. 3.5 hours driving time). Arrival at the Papillon Lagoon Reef is scheduled in time for lunch.

Accommodation

Ngutuni Lodge

The lodge has 48 guest rooms in four building blocks, all of which offer a direct view of the waterhole.
The facilities include a separate bathroom with shower and hairdryer, telephone, dressing table, and a furnished balcony with a view of the waterhole.

- All meals, transfers, and overnight stays mentioned in the itinerary
- Guaranteed window seat in a comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser
