Location

The Albatros Sharm Resort is ideally located on the plateau of Ras Om El Sid, offering fantastic views of the Sinai mountains and the Ras Mohammed nature reserve. The long, beautiful sandy beach is easily accessible via a panoramic lift. The hotel is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful setting, yet close to the many entertainment and shopping options in Naama Bay (approx. 7 km away). Sharm El Sheikh Airport is about 20 km away.

The hotel, rated a simple 4-star, is bright and friendly. The total of 224 rooms are spread across the main building and several annexes. Facilities include a welcoming and spacious lobby with reception, an internet corner, and a hairdresser. The main restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a beach restaurant, and several bars cater to your culinary needs. The shopping arcade is perfect for browsing. The well-maintained gardens feature two pools, each with a children's pool. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double room

The comfortably furnished rooms (D, approx. 36 sqm) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe (free of charge), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, satellite TV, telephone, minibar (daily refilled with water), kettle, and mostly a balcony or terrace with garden view. Pool view (PD) or sea view (DM) are available at an extra charge. Also bookable for single use (DE/PDE/DEM).

Super Saver Room (SSZ)

Same amenities as double rooms, but some are slightly smaller and without a balcony or terrace. Limited availability and special price.

Family Room (DF2)

Same amenities as double rooms, consisting of 2 double rooms with a shared entrance area, one bathroom, and a terrace. Sea view (FM2) is available at an extra charge.

Early bird breakfast from 5-7 am, breakfast from 7-10 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm, and dinner from 6-9 pm, all served buffet-style. Ice cream from 12-3 pm, afternoon coffee/tea with pastries or cake from 3-5 pm, and midnight snacks from 10 pm-12 am. All local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served from 10 am-12 am at the open bars. The club house bar is open 24 hours.
