Travel information

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 nights and includes various individual services.
Accommodation on the specified ship (or similar) is provided for seven nights according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation.
Embarkation for the MS Nile Serenity takes place on Saturday.

Notice

The Nile combinations are always tied to a beach stay. The cruise during the entire offer period is always one week and without interruption. The stays in the beach hotels can vary. This means one or more nights can also begin before the Nile cruise.

Embarkation: Saturdays
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Morning after breakfast, free time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while sailing downstream to Luxor.
Afterwards, opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Day 7:
At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship features a total of 40 beautiful exterior cabins and suites, spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship has a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers the opportunity to stay fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Also enjoy the outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² in size and equipped with private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
Also available for single use (EEX).

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the Main Deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.
Also available for single use (S1).

Economy Cabin

With the same equipment as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar equipment elements as the Executive Cabin and are also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a beautiful saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. It is just a few minutes' walk to the small center "Downtown" with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops (also accessible by hand-operated ferry). Various shopping options are also in the immediate vicinity. Guests have free access to the 700 m distant, beautiful sand beach "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island". At the beach, a approx. 400 m long swimming jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads over the reef into deeper waters. Explore the breathtaking coral reef from here while snorkeling. The resort is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. It is about 40 km to Hurghada airport.

Facilities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable from 16 years) inspires with a very special style and consists of a three-story main building as well as several outbuildings, where the total of 144 elegantly furnished rooms are distributed. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with reception. The Double rooms lagoon view (L2Z) have the same equipment as the double rooms, but feature a balcony, terrace, or French balcony and pool or lagoon view.
