Travel information

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 nights and includes various individual services.
Accommodation on the specified ship (or similar) is provided for seven nights according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day.
Embarkation for the MS Nile Serenity takes place on Saturdays.

Notice

Nile combinations are always linked to a beach stay. The cruise during the entire duration of the offer is always one week and without interruption. Stays in the beach hotels may vary. This means that one or more nights may also begin before the Nile cruise.

Embarkation: Saturdays
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to the West Bank to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Followed by a visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Followed by a visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.

Day 6:
Morning after breakfast, leisure time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while sailing downstream to Luxor.
Optional opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (can be booked on site).

At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile cruise ship features a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship features a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers a fitness area to keep fit. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Also enjoy the outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (EEX).

Suite

The suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the main deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (S1).

Economy cabin

Same facilities as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar amenities as the Executive Cabin and also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Location

Spend a fantastic family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the gently sloping sandy beach, approx. 400 meters away. Be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving here. If needed, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday destination is located in the newer part of Hurghada on the modern promenade with oriental cafés, bars, international pubs, and small shops. The town center of Hurghada with the famous "Sakalla" is approx. 6 km away. Hurghada airport is approx. 5 km away.

The spacious hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and family-oriented, featuring 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The complex welcomes guests in a spacious lobby with reception and lobby bar, as well as a cozy lounge with seating. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel free of charge. In the outdoor area, there are nine swimming pools, one with an integrated children's pool covering over 2,600m², which are partially heated in winter. Additionally, the hotel has an aqua park with various water slides that can be used from a height of 1.20 meters. The highlight for all water lovers is the 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that flows through the entire complex. On the roof terrace, there is a relax pool, which is only accessible to adults. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach. The "Magic Flavors" main restaurant takes care of your culinary needs, and there are also three different à-la-carte restaurants as well as a snack bar and various pool and beach bars available. Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 m²) have the same facilities as the Family Suites and feature a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping room. The master bedroom has a door to the living and sleeping area with two sofa beds. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free. Also bookable as a junior suite (JSA).

Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 m²) consists of a living/sleeping room and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it features the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms.

Standard Double Room

The Double Rooms (DA) are slightly smaller (approx. 24 m²) with similar amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but in a renovated, modern style. The rooms do not have a balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

The main restaurant "Magic Flavors" offers breakfast (07-10:30 AM), lunch (01-03 PM), and dinner (06-09:30 PM) in buffet form with theme nights and live cooking stations. Additionally, the following à-la-carte restaurants are available: The "Magic Orient Restaurant" offers oriental dinner. The "Magic Palappa Restaurant" offers Italian cuisine as breakfast (08-10:30 AM), late breakfast (10:30-12 PM), lunch (01-04 PM), and dinner (06:30-09 PM). The "Magic Sky Restaurant" offers dinner (06:30-09 PM) on the hotel's roof top. All mentioned restaurants are included once per week (minimum stay of 5 nights) and must be reserved.
