Travel information

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 nights and includes various individual services.
Accommodation on the specified ship (or similar) is for seven nights according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day.
Embarkation for the MS Nile Serenity takes place on Saturday.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

Morning after breakfast, leisure time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while sailing downstream to Luxor.

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship features a total of 40 beautiful exterior cabins and suites, spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxury ship has a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers a fitness area to keep fit. The pool on the sundeck invites you to cool off and relax. Also enjoy the outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (EEX).

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the main deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (S1).

Economy Cabin

With the same equipment as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar equipment elements as the Executive Cabin and are also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². They also have a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Location

Built in the Moroccan style, the hotel of the renowned JAZ hotel group is located directly on the private, long sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk-Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The aqua park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

The JAZ Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings in the complex. Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with an inviting reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. For culinary variety, in addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of the Souk Makadi is provided.
In the beautifully and spaciously designed garden area, there is the pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.

Family Suite Superior

The family suites (F2U) have the same equipment as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area, which is separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar equipment features as the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 m²), and have an additional seating/sleeping area, which is separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same equipment as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 m²) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer, with the same equipment as the Double Superior, a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 televisions. The Junior Suites have 56 m². They offer a variety of magnificent views and are luxuriously furnished.
