Embarkation: Thursday
Depending on the embarkation day, the itinerary may vary.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. Excursion by hot air balloon at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

Continue sailing to Esna and visit Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by cozy lounge bar. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Built in a Moroccan style, the hotel belonging to the renowned JAZ Hotel group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The water park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

Facilities

The JAZ Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden complex and has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with an inviting reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary diversity.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden complex features a pool area with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The friendly decorated Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (refilled daily free of charge), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. Daily a large bottle of water in the room (free of charge).
Also bookable as pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU) or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
For single occupancy, type B (DEB) is also available at a special price and limited quota.

Superior Family Suite

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious, approx. 47 m², and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.

The Superior Suites (SU2) have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.
Also bookable as Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family Rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Superior Family Rooms. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

The spacious (approx. 56 m²) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer, with the same amenities as the Double Superior, a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs. The Junior Suites are 56 m². They offer a variety of beautiful views and are luxuriously furnished.
