Embarkation: Thursday
Depending on the day of embarkation, the itinerary may shift.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, sightseeing on the East Bank, visiting the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides for your physical well-being with delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The best time of the year can be experienced in the idyllic grounds of the Pickalbatros Palace Resort. This spacious holiday resort is located directly on its own sandy beach. The deeper water can be reached easily via a jetty. Only 18 km from the center of Hurghada and about 11 km from the airport, a place of relaxation awaits you here.

Facilities

The holiday can be shaped with a variety of activities: After intense outdoor experiences, the wellness area provides for the deepest relaxation. International delicacies in the various restaurants round off the culinary experience. The appealing hotel of the upscale category consists of a main building and several side buildings, in which the total of 621 rooms are distributed. The hotel offers a reception in the luxurious lobby area, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including Moroccan and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, and an oriental pub delight the palate. In the spacious outdoor area, there is a large, lagoon-style pool landscape with various pools (1 of which heated from November to April), a swim-in bar, as well as a separate fun area for children with slides and fountains (1 heatable children's pool). On the sun terraces and at the beach, loungers, parasols, and pool towels are provided free of charge.
