Location

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the JAZ Costa Mares hotel is part of the renowned JAZ hotel group. The offshore coral reef offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town, with a lovely marina and various shopping and entertainment options, is located approximately 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only about 8 km.

The modern hotel complex (adults-only; bookable from 16 years of age) has a total of 208 rooms distributed between the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with a reception, a fitness studio, various shops, and a spa area. Dining options include a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à-la-carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, and the "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (for a minimum stay of 7 nights, both restaurants are included once per week—subject to availability, reservation required) as well as several bars.
The well-maintained outdoor area features a swimming pool (heatable in winter).
Sun loungers, pads, and parasols are available to guests at the pool and beach free of charge. Beach and bath towels are provided fresh daily in the rooms.

Superior Bay View Double Room

The Superior Bay View Double rooms (SVB) are 29 m² in size and feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, coffee and tea-making facilities, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.
Also bookable with sea view (DMU) or for single use (V1S/EMU).

Superior Garden View Family Room

The Superior Garden View family rooms (F2S) have the same facilities as the Superior doubles (29 m²), but with an additional sofa bed. The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites with sea view (J2M) are equipped like the Superior doubles, but are larger (120 m²) and have a direct sea view.

Deluxe Pool or Sea View Family Room

The Deluxe Pool or Sea View family rooms (FMD) have the same facilities as the Superior Bay View doubles, but are larger (approx. 45 m²).
The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Deluxe Bay View Family Room

The Deluxe Bay View family rooms (BDV) are approx. 46 m² in size and consist of 2 rooms with an interconnecting door, with garden or beach view, and otherwise the same facilities as the Superior doubles.

Breakfast from 7:00–10:30, lunch from 12:30–14:30, and dinner from 18:30–21:00 (winter) and 19:00–21:30 (summer) in buffet form in the main restaurant. Late-riser breakfast is available from 10:30–11:30 at the beach bar. At noon, various snacks from 13:00–16:00 with ice cream, coffee/tea, and cake. Selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10:00–24:00. Imported alcoholic beverages are not included in the All Inclusive package. Once per stay, the à-la-carte Beach Restaurant is included per person (subject to prior reservation and availability).
