Location

The luxurious hotel complex is situated directly in the heart of Port Ghalib and is just approx. 200 m from the beautiful sandy beach. An offshore coral reef offers guests a great opportunity for snorkeling and diving. Entry into the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea is facilitated by a long jetty. The marina with various restaurants and bars is only a few minutes' walk away. The international airport of Marsa Alam is only approx. 5 km away.

The luxurious hotel complex, built in an Arabic style, has 426 modern rooms and is equipped with a spacious lobby area with reception. Six restaurants (two with international cuisine and one with Italian cuisine) as well as six bars and a food court cater to your culinary needs. The generously designed spa area invites you to relax and unwind. The beautifully landscaped and expansive outdoor area features a pool and a separate children's pool (partially heatable in winter). In addition, the complex offers a large saltwater lagoon that runs through the entire property. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available to guests free of charge at the pool and on the beach.
The resort includes the largest heated water park in Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam (in the immediate vicinity, incl.). The new Aqua Park offers 8 water slides for adults and 13 slides for children, ensuring fun for all age groups. There are also two large, heated pools with comfortable sun loungers so you can also relax between slides. The Aqua Park is exclusively available to guests of the Pickalbatros Palace, Pickalbatros Sands, and Pickalbatros Oasis Port Ghalib hotels. The park is open from May to October from 10 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 7 pm and from November to April from 10 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 4:30 pm, giving guests plenty of time to make the most of their visit and create lasting memories.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros The Palace Port Ghalib" are allowed to use the adjacent facilities of the "Pickalbatros Oasis Port Ghalib" (RMF073) and the "Pickalbatros Sands Port Ghalib" (RMF072). This does not apply in reverse.

Double room

The double rooms (D, approx. 35 m²), furnished in an oriental style, are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (daily refill with water), air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, TV, and balcony, terrace, or French balcony.
Also bookable with sea view (DM), lagoon view (L2Z), and marina view (MV2) as well as for single occupancy (DE/DEM/L2Z/MV1).

These correspond to the double rooms (DD2/DD3). Bookable with lagoon view (DDA), pool view (DPB), or sea view (DDM) for an extra charge.

The family rooms with connecting door (FAV) consist of 2 double rooms with a connecting door and a shared entrance door.

Dinner can be enjoyed in either the Italian or one of the international restaurants. Alternatively, guests also have access to the restaurants at Pickalbatros Sands and Pickalbatros Oasis.
Late dinner from 10 pm - 12 am.
