Location

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the two sections "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. Designed in an Arabian boho style, the complex is located south of Marsa Alam and sits on a stunning stretch of coast with an offshore bay and crystal-clear water, right on the beach. Offshore coral reefs invite you to snorkel (swim shoes recommended). The Marsa Alam airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

This Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel was built in an elegant bohemian style paired with modern Arabian accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections: the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adults-only area for guests aged 16 and over. The resort has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both sections and offers a spacious reception area with a front desk as well as a "True Lobby Bar" with indoor and outdoor seating. The resort area features two large pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas for guests of all ages with loungers and beanbags. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water features are located next to the kids' club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant, "El Manzil," offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Additionally, the beachside fish restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay. The three à-la-carte restaurants "El Tawla" (Oriental), "NORI" (Asian-fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex features a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater offering various evening entertainment programs, a beach bar, as well as several shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a "Scarab Bar" as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge area. Two additional bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" bar right on the beach, are available in the village area. Guests of the village area are permitted to use both sections, but not vice versa. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool towels are included at the pool and beach.

Also bookable as Type I (DSI) with identical facilities, subject to limited availability and special pricing. Optionally bookable for single occupancy (DEU). Also available with side sea view (D2S/S1S) or direct sea view (DMU/EMU, as Type I DMI). Bookable as Swim-up room under RMF444.

Upgrade Superior Double Room Sea View

The room (UMB) offers the same features as the Superior Double Room Sea View, with the following additional amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival
- Bottle of wine in the room
- 10% discount on treatments in the hotel spa area

Superior Double Room Seafront

The Superior Double Rooms Seafront (RF2) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked upon arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water, water is refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and terrace or balcony; they are approximately 47 m² in size. The rooms are located in the sections of the hotel facing the beach and have pool and side sea views.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked upon arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water, water is refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and balcony or terrace; they are approximately 47 m² in size. Main restaurant "El Manzil" with buffet in the resort area for breakfast (7:00–10:00, times may vary by season), late breakfast (10:00–11:00, times may vary by season), lunch (12:30–14:30, times may vary by season), and dinner (18:30–21:30 winter season, 19:00–22:00 summer season). From 11:30–17:00, snacks are available to guests at the pool bar. From 15:00–16:00, tea time with cake and pastries in the lobby bar of the resort area. The seafood à-la-carte restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay (reservation required; depending on occupancy, the restaurant may not be open daily). Upon request, the following à-la-carte restaurants in the village area can be visited for a fee (reservation required): Greek restaurant "ILIOS," Oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and Asian fusion restaurant "NORI" (depending on the day of the week, two of the restaurants are open from 19:00–22:00, opening hours may vary by season). The following bars are at your disposal: "True Lobby Bar," pool bar "Maya," and rooftop bar "Sama Bar." Opening hours vary by bar. For our younger guests, there is a kids' club (ages 2-11; children between 2 and 3 years old only when accompanied by a parent; German-speaking) with daily entertainment, a separate children's pool, a splash pool with various water features, and a playground equipped with a sunshade.
