Location

The extensive resort is located directly on the fine, private sandy beach and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
The gently sloping beach offers the possibility for a relaxing beach holiday. Furthermore, a long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex comprises 389 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, three buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Alfredo Restaurant" - Italian cuisine, "Mediterranean Restaurant" - international cuisine), one à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay with reservation), two snack restaurants, and various bars and a café.
The spacious outdoor area includes 9 swimming pools (two heated in winter), 2 separate children's pools (one heated in winter), and an aqua park with 32 slides, 11 for adults and 21 for children (partially heated in winter).
Sunbeds, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Vita Resort Portofino" can use all facilities of the "Pickalbatros Villagio Resort Portofino" (RMF115).

Double Room

The spacious (approx. 30 sqm) and modernly furnished rooms (D) are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (daily refilled with water), safe, telephone (for a fee), TV, kettle, and a balcony or terrace.
Available at an extra charge with pool (DP) or sea view (DM).
Under RMFA48 also bookable as single occupancy with pool view (PDE).

Beachfront Sea View

The rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 45 sqm) and are located directly on the beach with sea views.

Double Superior

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (DSU, approx. 45 sqm).
Available at an extra charge with pool (DSP) or sea view (DMU).
Under RMFA48 also bookable as single occupancy with garden view (DSE), single occupancy with pool view (DST), and single occupancy with sea view (DME).

The family rooms (2FS) are equipped like the double rooms, consist of 2 bedrooms (approx. 70 sqm) (garden view).

Royal Suite Sea View

The Royal Suite (RSM) is equipped like the double rooms but is 70 sqm and consists of two bedrooms (separated by a door, two bathrooms, and a living area (sea view).
