Location

The spacious resort is located on the coast of Marsa Alam in a quiet setting, directly on a private sandy beach with a house reef. The fantastic reef off the coast offers a heavenly underwater world where rare fish, sea turtles, and corals can still be observed. Nearby, there are other great snorkeling and diving spots, such as the Elphinstone Reef, which invite you to experience the full splendor of the Red Sea. The resort is situated approx. 40 km north of Marsa Alam and approx. 35 km south of Marsa Alam airport.

Facilities

The Sataya Resort combines modern design with a relaxed atmosphere for a perfect holiday. The hotel offers 481 stylish rooms spread across several two-story buildings. Facilities include an entrance hall with a reception and lobby bar.
Culinary options include a buffet restaurant serving international dishes as well as three à la carte restaurants with Italian, Asian, and Lebanese cuisine. Several bars, a café, and a disco complete the offering.
The extensive garden area features seven pools, including a children's pool (partially heated), several water slides, an adults-only relax pool (16+), and a lazy river. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are included. Shops invite you to browse.

Deluxe Double Room Pool View

The modern rooms (D2P) are approx. 40 m² and feature a bath/shower with WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, coffee and tea-making facilities, and a balcony or terrace.
Also available at an extra charge with sea view (DM2) as well as for single occupancy (DPE/DM1).
(Additionally bookable under RMFA40 with pool view under "DPB/EDP" and with sea view "DDM/1DM").

Premium Double Room Pool View

The rooms (PPD) have the same features as the Deluxe Double Room Pool View but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²).
Also available at an extra charge with sea view (P2M) as well as for single occupancy (PPE/PM1).

Premium Double Room Adults Only

The Premium Adults-only rooms (PAO) have the same features as the Deluxe Double Room Pool View but are more spacious and include a jacuzzi on the terrace. The rooms are only bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
(Additionally bookable under RMFA40 as DZ Premium Swim Up, however without jacuzzi on the terrace, but with access to the swim-up pool "RU2").

Family Room Swim Up

The Family Room Swim Up (RU2) units have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double rooms, but with access to a swim-up pool (sharing pool).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Family Room Connecting Door

The Family Room Connecting Door (DFB) units are equipped like the Deluxe Double Room Pool View, but feature a connecting door between the two rooms. One room is furnished with a king-size bed and the other with a bunk bed.

Family Room Pool View (RMFA40)

These approx. 50 m² rooms consist of a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed for children, shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace with pool view (FP2/DFB).
Additionally bookable as Family Room Swim Up (A2Q/UF2) with access to a sharing pool.

Premium Double Room Jacuzzi Sea View

These rooms (PJM) have the same features as the Superior Double Room Pool View, but are more spacious (approx. 55 m²), feature a sea view, and include an indoor jacuzzi.
(Additional contingent under RMFA40 as DZ Premium Sea View + Whirlpool Type B "PMI" and as single occupancy "PSD").

Suite Sea View (RMFA40)

The very spacious and elegant Signature Suites feature a comfortable sleeping area with a king-size bed and a separate living area, heating and air conditioning (individually adjustable), electric kettle, minibar (for a fee), internet (free of charge), safe (free of charge), and satellite TV. The bathroom offers a bathtub or shower and the rooms have a magnificent view of the sea (approx. 115 m², S2M).
(Also bookable with pool-sea view "PSG").

Meals

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7-10 am, lunch from 12:30-3 pm, and dinner from 6:30-9:30 pm, each buffet-style in the main restaurant "AIDA".
Alternatively, dinner can be taken in one of the two à la carte restaurants (reservation required, once per stay with a minimum stay of 7 days).
Snacks available at the Beach Bar as well as in the Delice Lounge.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available until midnight at the respectively open bar.
