Location

This generously designed family resort from the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain will make the hearts of water lovers, young and old, beat faster. Spend a relaxing holiday in the Albatros Sea World in a quiet environment. A direct access leads you to the hotel's own 500 m long sandy beach. The beautiful house reef offers the best conditions for exploring the fascinating underwater world. Marsa Alam Airport is about 60 km away.

The extensive hotel has a total of 950 rooms spread across many small buildings. The generously designed garden complex features a total of 25 pools (two of which are heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and its own aqua park for all ages. Facilities include a welcoming reception area with a reception desk and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops inviting guests to browse. The hotel's six restaurants offer a variety of culinary specialties, including the oriental main restaurant "Saffron" and four specialty restaurants accessible without reservation ("Soprano" – Italian, "Zum Kaiser" – German, "L’Asiatique" – Asian, "Culina" – Mediterranean). Additionally, there is an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation required). The offering is complemented by various cafes and bars. The beach snack bar is perfect for a quick bite. The Aqua Park features 12 slides for adults, two pools with 12 slides and water games for children, as well as various pools and diverse sports and animation programs. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The double rooms (D) are approximately 47 m² in size, modernly furnished, and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar (daily replenished with water), Wi-Fi (limited speed), and a safe. The rooms also have a balcony or terrace and garden or pool view (PD).
Available at an additional charge with partial sea view (DMS/DES) or direct sea view (DM/DEM).
Also available for single occupancy (DE/PDE).

Beachfront Sea View

The rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms and are located directly on the beach with sea views.
These rooms are bookable as schauinsland-original rooms from Winter 23/24.

Junior Suite Pool View

The junior suites (J2P) are approximately 60 m² in size and have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with an additional open living area and pool view.
Also available with partial sea view (J2S) and sea view (J2M).

Super Saver Room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with garden view and not always a preferred location, as well as limited availability and a special price.

Family Room Pool View

The family rooms (FP2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 70 m²). Beds are available for children, which are visually separated by a sliding door.

Deluxe Double Room Pool View

The newly built Deluxe Double Rooms Pool View (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and have a size of approx. 53 m². The amenities are otherwise similar to the double rooms. The modern rooms also have a balcony or terrace with pool view.
Also available for single occupancy (D1P).

Deluxe Suite Pool View

The spacious deluxe suites are newly built and modern. With the same amenities as the double rooms, the rooms are larger (approx. 65 m²) and additionally feature a separate area for parents and one for children. The suites have a balcony or terrace with pool view.
