Location

The generously designed family resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain will make the hearts of water lovers, young and old, beat faster. Spend a relaxing holiday in the Albatros Sea World in a quiet environment. A direct access leads to the hotel's own 500 m long sandy beach. The beautiful house reef offers the best conditions for exploring the fascinating underwater world. Marsa Alam Airport is about 60 km away.

The spacious hotel has a total of 950 rooms spread across many small houses. In the generously designed garden complex, there are a total of 25 pools (two of which are heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and a dedicated aqua park for all ages. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops inviting you to stroll. The hotel's six restaurants offer a variety of culinary specialties. These include the oriental main restaurant "Saffron" and four specialty restaurants that can be used without reservation ("Soprano" - Italian, "Zum Kaiser" - German and "L’Asiatique" - Asian, "Culina" - Mediterranean restaurant). There is also an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation required). The offer is complemented by various cafes and bars. For a quick snack in between, the beach snack bar is a good option. The Aqua Park has 12 slides for adults, two pools with 12 slides and water features for children, as well as various pools and diverse sports and animation programs. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double Room

The double rooms (D) are approx. 47 m² in size, modernly furnished, and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar (daily refilled with water), Wi-Fi (limited speed), and safe. The rooms also have a balcony or terrace and garden or pool view (PD).
For an additional charge, rooms with a side sea view (DMS/DES) or direct sea view (DM/DEM) are also available.

Beachfront Sea View

The rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms and are located directly on the beach with a sea view.
The rooms are bookable as schauinsland-original rooms from Winter 23/24 onwards.

Junior Suite Pool View

The Junior Suites (J2P) are approx. 60 m² in size and have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with an additional open living area and a pool view.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms but with garden view and not always preferred location, as well as a limited quota and special price.

Family Room Pool View

The Family Rooms (FP2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 70 m²). Beds are available for children, visually separated by a sliding door.

Double Room Deluxe Pool View

The newly built Double Rooms Deluxe Pool View (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and have a size of approx. 53 m². The amenities are otherwise similar to the double rooms. The modern rooms also have a balcony or terrace with pool view.

Deluxe Suite Pool View

The spacious Deluxe Suites are newly built and modern. The rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 65 m²) and also have a separate area for parents and one for children. The suites have a balcony or terrace with pool view.

Double Room Superior (RMFA30)

The Double Rooms Superior have a bath or shower/WC, air conditioning, TV, safe, hairdryer, telephone, and garden view (DSU).

All Inclusive
