In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the sections "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arab Bohostyle, is located south of Marsa Alam on a beautiful stretch of coast with a bay in front featuring crystal-clear water, right on the beach. Coral reefs in front invite snorkeling. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style, combined with modern Arab accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" as an adults-only area, bookable for ages 16 and up. The complex has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sections and features a spacious reception area with a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors (located in the resort). On the first floor of the lobby is a rooftop bar "Sama Bar." The Village section of the resort (adults-only) is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire complex and are also the pools for the swim-up rooms, as well as an infinity pool offering views of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find the pool bar "Scarab Bar" and the Oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Guests of the Village section also have access to the Greek restaurant "ILIOS" and an Asian restaurant "NORI," both located on the beach. On the beach, guests can also find the bars "ILIOS Bar" and "Salt Bar." Furthermore, guests of the Village section have access to the main restaurant "El Manzil" and the fish restaurant "Ritsa" (both located in the resort area). The resort area has two spacious pools and a jacuzzi integrated into the main pool (main pool heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. The complex also features the pool bar "Maya," a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, as well as various shops and a hairdresser and spa area. Guests of the Village section may use both sections, but not vice versa. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.
